Laney's POV

It was a week until the third big tour and big shocker we had band practice again. So here we were in the middle of Corey's groj and we like always weren't practicing. Thanks to Marisa we can't get away from each other for three hours a day. So we were all lying around.
"So Lauren has something to tell you all," Corey said.
"yeah chicken over here and I have something to say," Lauren laughed and kin and Kon started acting like chickens.
"Im not a chicken," Corey defended.
"Then why won't you talk?" Lauren asked.
"Because you're going to," he said.
"Oh sorry your just too chicken to say anything," Lauren came back.
"Im not a chicken!" Corey said.
"Then why won't you talk?" Lauren asked.
"You're trying to trick me into talking!" Corey said.
"I'd stop you but this is kinda funny," I said.
"Watching Lauren call Corey a chicken is more interesting than you'd think," Jenna said.
"Ok fine whatever I'll do it. it's just i have a fear of public speaking," Lauren made a puppy face.
"A, we aren't public, and b you've given a speech to 50,000 people and you can't do it to 5? How sad," Corey said. ooh burn.
"Fine! you win," Lauren said.
"Go on," Corey teased and Lauren shot daggers.
"COREY AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED AND WE WANT TO ASK LANEY TO BE THE MAID OF HONOR AND KIN TO BE THE BEST MAN JENNA AND KON WE HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND!" Lauren spit out. "sorry it was easier that way," Lauren blushed. The four of us stood there shocked for about 10 seconds. Lauren blushed even harder after that. I was honored for a second that Lauren wanted me to be the maid of honor but I then realized that I would never have Corey anymore. When we were 16 kin's machine told me Corey and I wouldn't likely be more than just friends, so I was lucky I got that right? I had just noticed Lauren was staring at me. I didn't know why but I just realized I was crying. "Laney? are you ok?" Lauren asked.
"No it's fine I'm really happy for you... sure I'll be your maid of honor..." and then I ran out of the groj.

Jenna's POV

"I know this isn't the best time but I'll be the best man," kin said.
"so resume regular activities. Laney just ran out crying," I said.
"I told you!" Corey yelled like it was an achievement at Lauren.
" you act like its a celebration," Lauren rolled her eyes.
"It is because I was right and you were wrong," Corey said.
"You should gloat about that later Laney ran out crying! You were so concerned about her feelings yesterday that you made me do this!" Lauren yelled ripping the ring off her finger and pelting it at Corey and then she stormed off after Laney.
"So am I the only one who is entirely confused," i asked.
"Not a chance," kin said.
"She throws hard," Corey complained rubbing his arm.
"Explain." i said.
"LAUREN AND I GOT ENGAGED TWO DAYS AGO THEN WE HAD A HUGE FIGHT AND SHE DID WHAT SHE JUST DID AND THEN WE GOT ENGAGED AGAIN AND THEN THIS HAPPENED!" Corey yelled. "she's right it is easier,"
"So she broke the engagement twice?" I asked. Corey nodded. "ok then the real question here is why you aren't upset," i said.
"I am im just not crying more because I'm trying not to embarrass myself," Corey admitted.

Laney's POV

Black tears were streaming down my face but I didn't care. I'd never get Core any more so what was life worth? I stormed off the the recording studio to see if I could get out of my contract. They didn't need me to play bass, they had Jenna. When I reached the studio Lauren ran up to me.
"Laney! Why are you crying what's wrong?" She tried to wipe my tears away.
"Why do you care I'll be your maid of honor and then you and Corey can ride off into the sunset together and I'll be out of your life!" I cried. "wait were you looking for me or did you storm out on your own?" I asked.
"Ok stop crying and come inside and I'll explain everything," Lauren said leading me inside her personal room in the studio. "ok first try to stop crying it's hard to talk if your crying," Lauren complained.
"Ok," i said wiping my face.
"Ok. So two days ago Corey and I got engaged." she started.
"Can I see the ring?" I asked.
"I'll get back to you on that," Lauren said. "ok well afterwards we got in a big fight about when we should tell you guys he thought it would hurt your feelings so he thought we should have a secret wedding and I told him that was ridiculous. some time or another i got really mad at him and threw the ring at him and stormed out, then we made up later that day and agreed to tell you guys. Then obviously we told you. Then Corey and I got in another fight about it and I did the same thing,"
"Is that why you wouldn't show me the ring?" I asked.
"Yeah because I don't have it and I probably won't be taking it back all that easily," Lauren said. By this time my eyes had dried.
"I feel bad for you but I don't know what to say," i admitted.
"I got the tears out last night I've since moved on. I was already on edge from before and he just ticked me off," she said.
