Laney's POV
So maybe Lauren and I were on good terms again are far as she knew or cared, but my issues weren't just gone like hers. She never changes she tells me the same things over and over again but never takes action. So that lead me to the studio to tell them that i was going to quit. Yeah that's right I was quitting. She'd say things are gonna change but nothing's gone away.
"Wait you want to quit grojband?" Marisa asked clearly shocked by my statement. "why?" She asked.
"I can handle it socially. things have been weird and I just don't like it. I want to take my money and leave please," i said having nothing left to say.
"First things first, you can't quit until this tour is over, second there is no money until the tour is over. Third, what would your friends say?"
"Half of them aren't my friends," i grumbled.
"Like who?" Marisa asked.
"Lauren and Corey. Jenna's amazing, kin and Kon are the best but Lauren? Im not too sure about her." i clarified.
"Lauren continuously tries to get you to like her more, and you and Corey have been best friends since you met," Marisa said.
"Yeah well things change," i said.
"Why?" Marisa asked.
"I dunno were human?" I said.
"No why do you suddenly hate Corey and Lauren?"
"Ok fine I hate the two of them together and Lauren always is lying to me." I saw her glare at me so I continued. "SHE TOLD ME SHE THREW OFF THE ENGAGEMENT WITH COREY BUT I KNOW SHE DIDNT AND SHES MAKING UP A BIG STORY AND SHE PROBABLY JUST STUCK THE RING IN HER POCKET WHEN SHE WAS TALKING TO ME!" I said.
"Actually no..." Marisa said. "Lauren ran in here crying a few days about that and Corey came yesterday about everything that happened," she said. "after all this i really doubt they could possibly go through it,"
"Great now your lying too,"
"Remember you have an obligation to this tour or we sue you for breaking the contract," Marisa said.
"Fine whatever," i said letting the door slam behind me as I walked out.
