"Huh..." M/n said speechless, "Oh my gosh... why are there so many dead rats here?!" Keres gagged and looked away, "I'm not sure..." M/n poked a mouse, "It's cold..." M/n said making Keres shiver.
"Do you think rats will make good food?" M/n asked, "WHAT?! NO! We cannot eat those dead rats, also I thought you said this was a safe place!" Keres shouted.
"It is, but there's no more food..." M/n replied disappointed.
"Squeak...!!!"
M/n and Keres turned around to see a small hamster, "Um...what the heck is that?" Keres asked, "I don't know, it looks like a small round ball..." M/n answered.
"Sqo!!" The small hamster ran off, M/n and Keres started chasing after it, "Hey, come back!" M/n shouted, but the hamster said 'no'.
The hamster kept running through vents going places until it has finally reached it's destination, "How much stamina does that rat have?!" Keres shouted, "I don't think it's a rat" M/n corrected.
The hamster stopped when it saw their own home, "Hey, whats...." Keres stopped talking when he saw the hamster's home.
"Holy damn..." Keres said shocked, M/n came outside of the vent to examine closer, "I think we just hit the jackpot" M/n said, "For real..." Keres agreed.

"It's very...grassy..." M/n said unsurely, "Grassy? This is amazing! It has this cozy thing! And it's huge!" Keres laughed while jumping on the bed.
"I guess this is our new safe spot?" Keres smiled and looked down at M/n, "I guess..." M/n said a bit upset.
"Don't be like that, this is amazing!" Keres yelled while jumping on the bed, "Stop jumping you might break it!" M/n sweat dropped.
"Chillax!" Keres joked while pulling M/n up on the bed with him, "We really did hit the jackpot Huh?" M/n said already knowing the answer.
~~~after a bit of jumping on the bed~~~
"That was so fun!" Keres said panting on the bed, "I...why are you so rough?" M/n asked while wiping away sweat.
"Because! It's more fun when I'm rough don't you think?" Keres winked, "Don't be like that next time" M/n scoffed.
"How old are you?" M/n questioned Keres, "Hm....I can't seem to remember....I think....maybe 12 or 13? I really have no idea, you?" Keres replied, "Ah...I think I'm.... ugh it doesn't matter." M/n said hesitantly, "Wait- I'm older than you! Then you have to-" Keres says, but gets cut off by M/n.
"You don't even know my age!" M/n said staring coldly at Keres.
"Well! My official age is going to be 13!" Keres said proudly, "But what's gonna be your official age?" Keres asked, "I guess 12 then..? I don't really want to grow old" M/n said looking down.
"Whaaaaa? There is no way we are growing old! I'm going to stay 13 and you're going to stay 12!" Keres confirmed, "Right...move over." M/n said while pushing Keres over to make room for him on the bed.
"Alright I got it no need to push me!" Keres laughed, M/n yawned and laid next to Keres.
After a few minutes, they both fell asleep.

"Hm?" M/n rubbed his eyes while looking around, he then saw Keres right next to him, a bit too close.
M/n blushed a bit then turned away, Keres yawned and woke up as well, "Wow, I haven't had a sleep like this before!" Keres sat up and looked at M/n, he was staring at the ceiling so Keres did the same.
The ceiling was illuminating, "Woah...how did I not notice this before?" Keres questioned himself out loud, "You were too busy jumping on the bed like a monkey" M/n sighed and continued to look up.
"Sqo!" M/n quickly sat up startled, "What was that??" M/n asked looking around, "Don't worry, it's just this cute small ball" Keres laughed and showed M/n the hamster.
"How cute." M/n said while looking down at the hamster, "S-Sqo!" The hamster turned into a fully round ball and ran away.
"I-it...it's scared of me?" M/n asked himself while tilting his head a bit sideways.
"Probably, I mean have you seen your face? You look super scary!" Keres teased, "What?" M/n looked upset.
"A-Ah, I-I found a book! I-it's um interesting!" Keres said while pulling out a random piece of paper.
"What is that?" M/n asked, but Keres shrugged, "I don't know let's read it" Keres suggested but M/n was confused, what is reading and how do you do it?

"Dang, that was an actual good twist..." Keres commented before putting the piece of paper somewhere else.
"A sad twist I'm guessing" M/n sighed before lying back down on the bed.
"We should start heading out again, don't you think?" Keres looked at M/n, "Do you think we'll see Calla and Farrah again..?"
