Aether hummed his favorite song as the two of you, along with Lumine and Mona walked towards Childe's direction.

Mona was busy rummaging through her purse, looking for extra Mora to get a drink, while you and Lumine ere frantically copying homework answers from each other.

The four, soon to be five of you were nearing the school. The school of Teyvat, that is. Well known for it's students who'd all mastered some form of magic.

Well... maybe not mastered, but still in practice. That, however, is irrelevant.

"Couldn't figure out some of the problems again, huh?" Childe smirked, poking your shoulder as you all grouped together.

"They're hard! Venti was busy, too, so he couldn't help me!" You groaned.

"Yeah, and Aether just flat out refused to help me." Lumine growled before glaring at her twin.

Aether sighed, stopped humming, and turned around.

"If you two can't learn to do it yourselves then you won't pass exams in the future! At least try it once on your own!" He playfully grinned, ruffling Lumine's hair.

Childe chuckled, watching you and Lumine go back to quickly writing down some answers.

"I could help you two, if you want. As someone who's mastered the hydro vision, I know anything and everything about it!" He confidently shouted, disturbing the both of you.

You'd both ignored him for the time being, finishing the writing before quickly shoving your books in your bags.

"I'd rather you not." Lumine replied, stretching her arms back.

"I have to agree with her." You added

"What's wrong with hanging out with me!? I'm not that bad... scratch that, I'm not bad at all." He huffed, crossing his arms.

"If you say so." You shrugged.

Lumine chuckled.

"Oh, you know you love me!" He replied, unfolding his arms to sling one around your shoulders.

"I don't! Quit it with these false accusations!"

Mona laughed. She and Aether turned around to watch you Childe argue, Lumine sometimes butting in to defend you.

She knew you were lying, and that made it funnier.

Soon enough, the five of you made it to the front gates, slowly walking into the courtyard. Aether and Mona walked off to their shared first period, while you and Lumine headed to yours.

Before you left him to go to his own class, Childe gave you a hug. Lumine rolled her eyes, laughing.

Once he let go, she put a hand on top of your head.

"My (Y/n)! I won't share them!" She barked.

"Well that's too bad because I'm taking them away for lunch!" He grinned.

And with that, he ran off to class. You and Lumine went back to your usual joking around, less stressed as you'd finished the homework earlier.

"Speaking of lunch, though... if that was a joke, wanna get some friends together to go to the cat café for lunch?" Lumine asked, a happy sparkle in her eyes.

"YES! CAT CAFÉ!" You shouted.

She joined in, chanting it with you until your arrived at first period.
