Ningguang waved to you and Lumine, before giving Beidou a kiss on the forehead and heading off to find Zhongli. After watching her head off, Beidou turned to the both of you.

"How's is goin guys? Are you free this weekend?" She asked, leaning her face on her palm.

Lumine thought for a second before giving a response.

"I don't have anything to do, and neither do they. Why, what's up?" She responded.

"Well, Ning was planning some sort of small party for Qiqi, Klee, Diona, Yaoyao, and Paimon this weekend. Ya know, since they're all going from elementary to middle school this year? She's making invites soon once the plans are set, so this is just sort of a heads up!"

You and Lumine were both instantly happier than before. The little ones were so cute, though Klee could be pretty wild. Whenever you had the chance to, you'd both babysit then and take them out, sometimes your friends would join as well. A lot of the time, Childe would bring Teucer along.

"I'm guessing from those smiles that you're both definitely coming? If so, feel free to invite others as well!" She smiled, before turning around to talk to Ganyu.

"YEAH!" The both you you cheered, throwing your hands in the air.

"Make sure to tell Mona and Aether soon! Tell your boyfriend too!" Lumine snorted at this add on as Beidou turned around to talk to another kid.

"What's so funny about that?" You smiled.

"Ah, you know already~!" She sang.

"Uh huh." You replied, suspicious.

The both of you went back to whatever random and odd conversation you'd usually have before class starts, waiting for your teacher to arrive.

"Ahh man.." You heard Mona groan from next to her locker.

"I got ya covered, and there's no need to pay back either." You smiled, already knowing what the problem was.

"Truly the best, you are! Thank you again!" She sighed, relieved.

Before you could say anything else, a certain ginger boy sprinted by, grabbing your empty hand.

"I'll be taking them!" He winked at Mona, the two of you leaving her behind.

"Hey, what if I don't wanna leave Mona behind?!" You scolded, chucking as he dragged you along.

Mona couldn't hear the rest of what was said, rolling her eyes but still keeping a small smile on her face. She would decide on finding Lumine and Aether before heading to the Café to find you and Childe.

Childe sipped his tea, keeping his eyes on you. An adorable hairless cat had sat itself in your lap, and it wasn't leaving anytime soon.

"He really likes you, huh?"

Your attention left the cat for a second, and was now back on the idiot across from you.

"Why wouldn't he?" You laughed, stroking it's head gently.

"Good point, good point. How's your drink?" He asked.

"It's great! I don't think I've ever had a bad drink or snack here to be honest." You replied.

"Same, part of the reason this is my second favorite place to eat is because there's never a bad option on the menu!" He grinned.

You nodded in response before speaking up again.

"If this is your second favorite place... What's your first?"

He smirked, head leaning on his palm.

"Well, dear (N/n), I'm so glad you asked because I was wondering if-" He was cut off.

"(Y/n)! Sorry it took me so long to get here, but everyone else is on their way too, I saw them walking a little farther back!" Mona said, walking over to you and Childe.

"Ooh fun! Come sit down! Who else is coming?" You asked, forgetting what Childe was saying before.

He sighed, watching the two of you talk. A very fluffy cat began rubbing against his leg, meowing for attention. He picked it up, petting it and giving it some of the cat treats that were left on each table.

After a minute or two, you handed Mona some money so she would be able to get lunch. Once she went to stand in line, you were once again talking to Childe.

"Aww who's that? What a cutie!" You squealed, looking at his new friend.

"Her collar says Duck.. She is very cute, almost as cute as you." He winked.

"Hot, actually. I'm hot." You chuckled.

"I'd have to agree with them!" Aether butted in as he and Lumine walked in.

Lumine quickly nodded in agreement, sitting down at a table next to yours. Aether joined her.

"See, he gets it!" You laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Childe responded, rolling his eyes with a smile on his face.

The others, consisting of Beidou, Ningguang, Ganyu, Keqing and somehow Xiao eventually joined you. Xiao wasn't happy about being in such a large group, but the café's food and drinks made up for it.

Ningguang was discussing her plans for the kids party, while Beidou and Ganyu joked around. Mona sat next to you again, eating her lunch and joining in on the planning of the party.

Once everything was set, everyone else began eating. You and Mona were the only two who were finished, so of course you began talking.

"You already know I don't have the mora to pay you back, but I'd like to do something in return for you.. How does a reading of your future sound? For free, of course, as you've been such a kind friend to me." She offered.

Lumine overheard this, and quickly kicked Childe out of his seat to talk to the two of you. He reluctantly left, sitting next to Aether who just glared at Lumine.

"Hey Lumes!" You smiled.

"Sup guys, I overheard what Mona was saying and just wanted to see what's going on!" She replied, grinning.

"She's offered me a future reading for free! And I think... I'll take your offer! Why not?" You beamed.

"Sounds cool! Can I watch? I'd like to see the amazing Mona Megistus in action!" She squealed like a fan girl.

"I suppose you being there wouldn't really interfere with anything, but you need to promise you'll stay quiet. If I can't focused then they won't be able to get the most accurate view of the future!" She warned, taking a sip of her milkshake.

"I, Lumine, promise to stay quiet so my bestie will have the most accurate reading possible!" She laughed.

Mona sighed with a smile.

"Alright. I have to stay at school for a little while today for something, but you two can wait at my place. You know where the key is." She replied before getting up.

"I should be going now, see you both later. Aether may also come if he'd like!" She finished, turning to leave.

The two of you waved, before Childe snuck over and took Mona's seat. He quickly drooped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into a side hug.

"Miss me?" He asked, smirking.

"Hardly." You replied, causing Lumine and Aether to laugh.

"I see how it is... Anyways, what's this party about, and going to Mona's?"
