Evanna ~ Mine

Chapter 1

Anna's POV:

I heard my phone ring, and I recognized the ringtone right away. I searched for my phone, and noticed that Sab was sitting on it. "Sab! stand up, you're sitting on my phone!" I yelled over the music. She shifted her body, and handed me my phone. "Sorry," she mumbled. 

I quickly picked up the call, while running to the bathroom. 

"B-boon?"

I heard a cry through the phone, "Eva? What happened?"

E: "I n-need you, where are you?"

Her voice cracked multiple times. "I'm home, where are you?" I lied. 

E: "Really? Why is the music so loud"

"Why not?" I panicked not knowing what to say. "Where are you?"

E: "I'm driving h-home right now fr-fr-from Connor's"

Shit. "Oh, okay I'll see you there". I quickly hung up and ran out Sab's party. The party was huge, but not really fun. I ran out to my car, quickly got in and sped home. Luckily I made it before Eva, which is surprising. I ran in, and checked if anyone was there. The house was empty. I laid on the couch, worrying about Eva. I wonder what happened. I assumed it was Connor, since he had been acting different. I then remembered, that Eva probably hadn't eaten, so I quickly ordered some sushi. I ordered the one Eva loved, the one with avocados. I then laid there, wondering when Eva would come. 

After about 10 minutes, I opened my phone, and messaged Eva. Just as I sent a message, I hear the door swing open. I see a small figure. I sit up on the couch, and look to see who it is. "Eva?". No answer. It was Eva, I learnt, when she came closer. She was wearing a hoodie and sweats. It surprised me since she is usually in stylish clothes. I then notice her eyes. They were puffy and red, like her nose. She then suddenly started shaking. "Evan, what happened, talk to me, everything will be alright if you ju-"

She opens her arms and falls on me. I put my arms around her neck. I slowly, drop down, laying on the couch, as she lays on top of me with her hands around my waist. I felt a little butterfly fly around in my stomach. Her head was on my chest, so I decided to kiss it. "Are you okay?"

She didn't respond. "Eva" I said a little louder. She groaned. I gave up. I slowly, pulled down her hoodie, so I could see her face. She didn't move a muscle. Her face was faced towards me, on my chest, but she was looking down. I had one hand on her shoulder, so that she wouldn't fall off the couch. I studied her face. She had no makeup on, and her eyes were red. Her nose had cooled of, but she still seemed sad.

"I had a fight with Connor" she finally spoke.

"Oh" I said, not knowing what would be a better answer. 

"Yeah, apparently he thinks we should go our separate ways" she said harshly.

"You guys broke up?" I said very gently, since I noticed she was getting angry.

"I think so. He said he wants us to be friends, but I don't know if that is possible. I've had so much history with him, I could never. And also, he told me that he would 'always be there for me'. I swear, I hate him so much".

I didn't say anything. I've never liked Connor. Although he has been very sweet to me, I just never seemed to like him. I don't know what it was, but I always kept quite because Eva loves him. Eva's head over heels in love with him. It always seemed one sided. It might seem a little evil of me, but it made me happy that she had broken up with him. Ever since Connor, Eva and I had distanced. She was always with Connor, and I hated it. Now that Connor is gone, we could spend more time together. 

"Anna?" Eva said. "Are you still there?"

"Yeah, I responded. "I just don't know what to say."

"I'm sorry, you seemed like you liked Connor". Eva said.

I chuckled, "No, to be honest, I never liked him"

"Really, why?" Eva asked.

"Yeah, I have no idea, he just wasn't the right guy for you"

"At this point, no one is the right guy for me"

"Well, maybe you shouldn't look for a guy."

"Yeah, I need a girl, not a guy"

My heart jumped. I felt Eva looking at me, so I looked away trying to hide my red cheeks. "What?" Eva said. "I wanna see your reaction" she chuckled. I smiled even wider. I felt Eva's finger on my chin. I slowly shifted my head towards her. "What?" I said. She burst into laughter, and so did I. As the laughter slowly faded away, I heard the doorbell.

"Who's that?" Eva asked. I remembered that I had ordered sushi. "It's sushi!" I said. "Go get it". She looked up at me and shook her head no. I groaned, and slowly got off the couch, as I placed Eva on it. "Lazy ass", I said. 

Eva's POV:

"I'm not lazy, I'm just tired!" I yelled as Anna went to the door. I turned on my phone, and unfollowed Connor on all social media. He deserves it. I look up from my phone, and see Anna come back with Sushi. "Is it the avocado one?" I asked, and she nodded. "I love you so much I said, as I got up and gave her a side hug. We then ate the sushi, joking around with one another.

I also noticed that Anna wasn't really eating. Then it struck me. "Anna? I thought you hated avocados."

"I do" she said softly.

"Didn't you get any more sushi?"

"As if you could finish that, it has 30" she said pointing at the sushi. 

"We could have had it tomorrow!"

"It wouldn't be the same" Anna said louder.

"Calm down" I whispered. 

"Calm down Jamal" Ava said in a deep voice. We both burst in laughter. We then finished the sushi, and decided to watch a movie. 

"It" Anna suggested.

"No!" I said.

"You scardy cat" Anna said rolling her eyes.

"I'm not scared, I'm just not in the mood" I responded.

"Sure" I heard her say in a sarcastic tone. I rolled my eyes and avoided it.

"Anime" I said.

"No!" she said repeating what I had said earlier.

"Why not?"

After about fifteen minutes of arguing, we decided to watch "The Wilds" since our fans had been requesting us to watch it. I laid on one side of the couch, and Anna laid on the other. I kinda wished she would come and cuddle me, but I didn't say anything. "It's so cold" I said, hoping she would get the hint. "It's so fucking hot, what do you mean?" Anna responded. I sighed, "Never mind". We finished the first episode and Anna grabbed the remote to put on the second. Then, when she put the remote down, she made her way towards me, and rested her head on my chest. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I smiled, and also felt my cheeks go red. We laid, in the same position we did before, but this time, I was below. She looked up at me once a while, which made me blush, but I hid it very well. After the first four episodes, I realized that Anna's breathing had evened out. So, I turned of the tv, and fell asleep below her.
