"Were you crying?" Childe asked as he stepped closer to the (h/c) haired female, in result she stepped back.

"No, I wasn't." She replied coldly and walked off, however childe was too curious to just let her walk off like that.

"Hey~ why were you crying? Could it be that you missed me? Princess~" he purred as he slung an arm around her waist, she just glared at him and pushed his arm away, continuing to walk away.

Childe slightly smirked, he gingerly walked next to her again and closed the small distance between them.
"What's wrong? Can't handle my charm?"

"One thing I can't handle about you is your stupidity." She deadpanned as she clenched her fist, Childe sweatdropped and raised his arms in defeat.

"So hey, what do you say if we go, fishing?" He asked, she cocked a brow at his question, was he serious?

"I say..you should leave me alone, I want to go home." She suggested while keeping a straight face, she really didn't want to deal with him right now after what happened.

"Don't you have work to take care of anyway? You have too much free time for a harbinger." The girl questioned, she couldn't really figure him out. A harbinger is supposed to be busy and doing their job, and then there was Childe, who was always hanging around so carefree not doing anything.

"I'm waiting for someone, but they seem to be taking their sweet time. So until they come back I've decided to hang with you instead!" He happily inquired as he lifted the girl into the air and put her on his shoulder.

"what the hell are you doing?!" She gasped, grabbing onto his arm for support so she wouldn't fall.

"I guess you could call this a kidnapping" Childe chuckled as he began walking towards god knows where.

"P-put me down you idiot! People are staring!" She started punching him lightly, but he wouldn't even budge, she only got a laugh out of him.
"Sorry girlie, no can do."

She groaned and covered her face in embarrassment not daring to look at anything or anyone at all, that's when she caught a glimpse of dark brown and amber hair.

She looked at the suspected person and hope filled her as she saw zhongli, she waved to him hoping he would notice her and when he did she looked at him with pleading eyes hoping he would get the message.

Lucky for her, he understood and walked up to the two, he snatched the girl from Childe and hid her behind him.
The harbinger turned around in surprise in who dared to just take her, childe's eyes widen as he saw mr.zhongli.

"Mr.zhongli! What a surprise seeing you here,umm..what are you doing with my (y/n)?"

"It's nice seeing you aswell Childe." Zhongli replied with a monotone voice. "I didn't know you were so familiar with (y/n)."
The said girl just stuck her tongue out at Childe, making sure zhongli doesn't notice her choose antics.

"Me and (y/n) are like best buds!" Childe hollered "now if you wouldn't mind would you give her back to me?"

"she didn't look too happy with you just now." Zhongli implied, the girl had faith that zhongli would get her out of this situation.

"Ohohoho! It must be because she's nervous for our date, oh how cute (y/n)" Childe beamed  as he reached his hand out for the said girl.

"Oh? Is that so? I didn't know that you guys were a thing, my apologies." Zhongli moved out of the way so (y/n) could go with Childe but instead she grabbed zhongli's arm.

"Mr.Zhongli remember when you told me you were gonna tell me another one of those old ancient stories?" She rejoiced, Zhongli got confused as of the situation.

"Are you sure you want me to tell you now? You're going on a date with-"
"Yes yes! Of course I want you to tell me!" She cut him off as she gingerly grinned at the man, he can't take a hint someone help her.

Childe felt a tint of jealousy inside of him, he smiled and grabbed the girls hand and pulled her back to him.

"She's just kidding! Go on with your day mr Zhongli! It was nice seeing you~" Childe walked away Hand in hand with the girl, (y/n) just glared at the old man and unwillingly walked with Childe.

Zhongli sighed with a small smile on his face, watching as the two slowly got farther and farther soon disappearing from his sight.
"Ah, young love."

"Where are you even taking me?" She pulled her hand away from him, crossing her arms on her Chest.

"To our date of course"

"Childe we are not going on a da-" he cut her off by putting his index finger on her lips shushing her.

He then pulled his hand away, he locked his fingers with hers, she became flustered at his actions and just look in another direction in attempt to hide her face, the boy slightly chuckled at her with a tint of red on his cheeks, and the two soon left the harbor together.

Maybe, I do want to give him a chance..or maybe I don't..
