you stepped off of the boat onto the snow, the cold breeze washed over you. Your eyes darted around the place.

"Is something wrong?" Childe got off the boat and walked next to you.

"It's been so long since I last saw snezhnaya, everything has changed.." you mumbled under your breath, a fatui recruit Walked up to you.

"Lady (name), lord 8th ordered me to tell you that you'll be staying at her mansion."

"Take her luggage there, she will be home in a few hours." Childe ordered the recruit and he nodded.

you raised a brow in confusion, childe sheepishly smiled at you and wrapped an arm around your waist.
"I said I'd take you to meet my family didn't i?"

The two of you decided to go on a stroll before going to his house to meet his family, he showed you new areas that you've never seen before and How much it's grown.

"We should go ice fishing together sometimes,." childe said out of the blue.

You began walking to childe's house, It was a 10 minutes walk, when you arrived you were surprised at how pretty and cozy his home was.

Childe knocked on the door, and came opening it an excited Teucer who immediately engulfed his older brother into a hug.

"Tonia! Anton! Teucer! Look who's here to see you."

childe moved out of the way to let you in, The three kids rushed over to you with smiles plastered on their faces.

"Woah you're so pretty! Just like how big brother describes you in his letters!" Tonia beamed, teucer came and hugged you tightly, already missing you.

"big brother said you're an awesome fighter is that right?" Anton asked, you noticed a wooden blade in his right hand.

Flustered, you only smiled at them as they kept shooting more questions your way, luckily childe pushed them off of you and took you inside the house.
A woman, that looked like she was in her 40s walked up to Childe, and when she saw you her eyes lit up.

"Oh my look at you! You're (name) right? Please call me mama haha!" She let out a heartful chuckle.
"I just got done preparing dinner, please come and eat with us."

You accepted and followed her into The dining room, there was a big table with lots of food on it that was still hot.

You sat next to childe, His mom Talked about how different childe was as a child and told teucer to bring an album full of his baby pictures.

Dinner was all laughter and joy.

after dinner was finished, you helped childe's mom with the dishes and so did tonia, the little girl seemed to be very fond of you, she asked you how you've met her brother and how you got to know him, well..

"Sorry about my mom and uh my siblings, I didn't expect them to get so excited to see you." Childe rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's okay, they're nice people." You chuckled.

"You can stay the night if you want, we could go skating tomorrow and snow fights maybe." Childe looked out his window, gaze on a frozen lake near his house.

"I'm not sure, my sister will get worried."

"It'll be fine- tell her teucer and tonia begged you to stay."

"I guess I can do that-"

"You're sleeping in my room."
