Return From Death

after last night's dual, Vicer went and spent the night close to school, sleeping in a tree. As the morning comes, he quickly switches to his school disguise, using the item Raynare gave him. as he starts heading through the school gates, someone shouts at him

???: "HEY VICER" 

Vicer quickly turns his head, noticing Issei running up to him

"wassup Issei?" 

Issei: "please tell me you remember Yuuma"

"who?" 

Issei: "you know, the girl we meet on the bridge" 

"oh yea, her, what about her?" 

Issei: "everyone else seems to not remember her yet I do" 

Vicer just simply nods his head, seems Rias used some devil magic to make people forget, a smart yet evil move 

"let me guess, you wanna find out if you're going crazy?" 

Issei: "EXACTLY! will you help me? please?" 

"ah fuck it....fine, it's not like I got anything better to do" 

Issei: "thanks man, meet at the gate after school, alright?" 

Vicer just nods before walking off, however, instead of going to class, Vicer went to the ORC building, he quietly got to the main meeting room, it was nice for an old building, two sofa's, a bookshelf behind one of the sofas and a desk, Vicer went up to the bookshelf, running his hand over the cover's 

'these are old books...I remember them from when I was a kid'

he thought to himself, however, he was brought out of his thoughts by someone clearing their throat, as Vicer turns his head, he notices Rias and another girl standing there, Rias did not seem happy, while the other girl had a smile on her face 

Rias: "what are you doing here Watcher?"

"snooping around your HQ, for a Devil's HQ it's quite easy to get in here, no locked doors or traps, hell I was expecting the white-haired girl to be here"

Rias: "don't forget this is a school, they have class now" 

"yea I guess that's true, but now to the real reason I'm here, you brought Issei into your group didn't you?" 

Rias: "Of ofcourse, he posses a powerful..." 

"yea, yea, powerful sacred gear or some bullshit like that, heard it from the fallen angel's already"

Rias: "actually, that raise's a question, why were you with Issei last night?"

"hm? oh yes, I wanted a fight and what better way to get one than to show up to a murder" 

Rias: "all that for a simple fight?" 

"you may have seen it as a simple fight, but in reality, it was much more than that" 

Rias: "explain" 

"you can't order me around like a pawn Rias, now then if you excuse me, I have a class to get to, also I'm taking this book" 

Vicer says as he picks out one of the books, calmly walking out of the building, as he left he could clearly see he made Rias both confused and upset. As Vicer was going through the hallway's he got stopped by a group of girls, two he remembered from his first day of school

Sona: "Watcher." 

"oh come on, why you gotta call me that in the open" 

Sona: "I would like to have a chat with you." 

"as much as I would LOVE to sit and chat, I'm busy, after all, I have class" 

Sona: "fine, but I expect you to come and see me tomorrow." 

"whatever Sona, good day to you"

Sona: "good day to you as well."

the group walks past Vicer, turning the corner and out of sight, Vicer lets out a light sigh and runs his hand through his hair before walking to class

'the Gremory Family and Sitri Clan in one area, making enemies with both groups would be stupid, for now, I'll be friendly to one of them'

Vicer enters the classroom, going and taking a seat, quietly reading his book while the teacher went on with their lesson, the rest of the day went on as it normally would, nothing exciting happening, besides the perverted trio getting chased by the kendo club again but apparently that's normal here. Eventually, school ended, Vicer had been waiting by the school gates, calmy humming till Issei showed up

Issei: "sorry about that, had to say goodbye to some of my friends"

"no need to say sorry, so...you ready?" 

Issei: "yea, let's go uncover this mystery" 

Vicer just nods and follows Issei, by the time they got to the park it was dark out, while Vicer was looking around, Issei had gone right up to the fountain, Vicer soon walked up to Issei 

"so, whatcha got?" 

Issei: "it all feels so...familiar" 

???: "well what do we have here, Raynare had a feeling you would come back" 

both Issei and Vicer turned to face who was talking, Vicer instantly recognized him from Raynare's group, the man with the black fedora

Issei: "w-who are you!" 

Dohnaseek: "I might as well say my name, not like you will live to tell it, I am Dohnaseek"

Dohnaseek created a light spear similar to Raynare's, he took a step forward towards Issei, however, Vicer stepped in front of him, Vicer was 7 foot tall while Dohnaseek was only 6 foot so it made it easy for Vicer to be intimidating 

"you won't even touch him." 

Dohnaseek: "and what are you gonna do human? you can't do shit so die." 

Dohnaseek stabbed the spear through Vicer's stomach, piercing through his entire body, Vicer's mouth dripped some blood but Vicer's face was unfazed 

Issei: "Vicer!" 

Vicer turns his head to look at Issei, it was clear he was smirking, Vicer proceeded to put a finger to his, signalling Issei to be quiet. Issei had a look of confusion, and so did Dohnaseek, and right on cue a wolf could be heard howling before another joined in the howl, Issei remembered that the figure who saved him came after wolve's howled 

Issei: "howling? is he here?" 

Issei quickly got an answer as Vicer's body burst into flames, as they settled, there stood the guy who saved Issei the other day, Dohnaseek had a look of pure terror, he was not ready for this 

Dohnaseek: "n-no! it cant be, your meant to be on our side!" 

"I'm on no one's side but my own, now to quote you, You Can't Do Shit So Die!"

Vicer quickly delivered a hard right hook to Dohnaseek's cheek, sending him into a tree, the impact knocked the wind out of him. Vicer slowly pulled the spear of light out of his stomach, coughing up blood before shaking off the pain, he tossed the spear onto the ground and slowly approached Dohnaseek. knowing he couldn't win here Dohnaseek did the safe option and fled, flying away with whatever stamina he had left

Issei: "Vicer, are you gonna be ok? you have a hole in your stomach" 

"I'll be fi..." 

However, Vicer fell over, face planting into the ground, Issei quickly ran over and checked on him

Issei: "please don't die on me"

"I'm not gonna die...pain finally caught up with me" 

Issei: "i-i need to get you to a doctor, your stomach is just...open"

However before Issei could do something Rias appeared with a smirk on her face, and that was the last thing Vicer saw before passing out
