so uh, since this is the first "official" book on this account, let's do something laid back, and what better place to start than DxD? there are probably better places to start but oh well, LET'SA GO!

While Vicer was waiting for a certain chicken to show up, halfway across the world, in a very old castle sat Kuroka, in front of her a man with light silver hair and Hazel Eyes, his outfit was a dark green V-neck shirt with a high-collared black leather jacket over it, burgundy jeans with a silver chain drooping down over them and black leather chaps with three bands encircling his right calf, and black shoes with black buckles. It seemed as if they were having a conversation before a figure stepped out from behind a door, this figure was leaning against the doorframe as if he was hurt
Kuroka: "oh seems our pet is awake"
"where...am I?"
the figure grips his head, his voice was low and rough. Kuroka was about to get up but the man in front of her stood up and walked over to the figure
???: "where you are doesn't matter, from here on out you are my servant, you are to either call me boss or sir"
"I-I serve the watcher's, not y-you"
The figure fully stood up, standing at 10 feet tall, however before he could do anything he was suddenly brought to his knees by something painful, a mark had burned itself into the throat of the figure. this symbol was of a white dragon
Boss: "The Watcher's are dead, now you will serve me"
"y-yes...boss"
Boss: "good, from this point your name is Heinrich, and you are my Knight"
the newly named Heinrich slowly stands up, his black hair falling over his eyes
Kuroka: "seem's he agreed faster than expected, I like that~"
Boss: "hands off Kuroka, now then, Heinrich, follow me"
'boss' leads him through the castle to what appears to be a training room, a man was practicing his skills against a dummy, while someone else sat in a chair, reading a book
Boss: "Bikou, Arthur, he's awake"
the two looked over, Bikou was the first to walk up to Heinrich, a smile on his face
Bikou: "damn your tall, you're like a mini mountain!"
Bikou started laughing before regaining his composer and placing his staff on his shoulder. Arthur was next, getting up from his seat and walking over
Arthur: "so you're the corpse we risked our necks for, a pleasure to finally meet you face to face"
Heinrich slowly nods before looking to Boss, who was pulling out a crate and placing it beside Heinrich
Boss: "here's your gear, get ready."
"for what?"
Boss: "We are going on a mission"
Heinrich nods once more before opening the crate. Upon seeing his outfit, memory's flashed into his head, the first time he ever put on his armour played in his head, as well as his brother's beside him, one was slightly more visible though, he had a hood instead of the usual mask and hat the other's wore, his name finally popped into his head
"Vicer...."
Boss: "hm? Do you remember something?"
"my brother...his name was Vicer"
Kuroka suddenly comes into the room with a smile on her face, she looked to 'Boss' who nods his head towards her
Kuroka: "your brother is alive, but his mind has been corrupted by devil's, we are actually trying to free him"
Heinrich lifted his hood to cover his face with a dark mist, he slowly reaches down and picks up his sword by its handle, holding it with one hand and turning to 'Boss'

"What would you have your servant do for you"
Boss: "a group of Angel's and Stray Devil's started fighting each other close by, I need you to kill all of them, myself and Kuroka will accompany you to see how you perform, and if it looks like you need help we shall interfere"
"yes sir"
Heinrich places his sword on his back and nods his head, 'Boss' and Kuroka walk out of the room with Heinrich following behind them. as they left the castle, the cold night air smacked Heinrich like a slap to the face, he lets out a sharp gasp before gaining control of his breathing, 'Boss' and Kuroka look back to him before they start running off, Heinrich quickly catches up to them. After a few minutes, they make it to a small valley with a cliff overlooking it, a small quad of ten angels was holding their own against ten stray devil's in the valley while Kuroka, Heinrich and 'Boss' were on the cliff
"seem's they are in a stalemate boss"
Boss: "yes seems that way, but that'll change when you go in there"
"right, showtime"
Heinrich quickly jumped down the cliff, planting his sword in it to slow himself down as he fell. As he reached the bottom he yanked his sword from the cliff, a very dark mist wraps around his sword as suddenly Heinrich lets out a roar, much like a wild animal. The Angels and Stray look towards the roar to see Heinrich rushing towards them, and before they even know what to do one of the angel's head was flying through the air. Meanwhile up on the cliff, "Boss" and Kuroka were watching Heinrich slaughter his foe's
Kuroka: "so, you think our pet down there will be enough to kill the Watcher?"
Boss: "eventually yes, once he gets consumed by the Abyss he will be unstoppable"
Kuroka: "oh that reminds me, the Watcher went and got his sword back from the church"
Boss: "hm, that may complicate things in the future"
after a few minutes, Heinrich was standing on a pile of dead bodies, his sword dripping with blood from the Angel's and Stray Devils. Both "Boss" and Kuroka join him on the ground, a smile on Kuroka's face
Kuroka: "damn you're strong, I like that~"
Boss: "good job Heinrich, how do you feel"
"good...killing brings me joy"
Boss: "perfect, let's head back home before more Angels show up"
Heinrich nods and follows both Kuroka and "Boss" back to the Castle, however, something was off in Heinrich's head, he could feel a connection to someone, who this someone is was a mystery to Heinrich, but he will keep quiet about it until he learns more of this new world.
