"Dory! Stop! You're walking way way too fast!" I groaned, trying to keep up with the taller girl. She was a good six or seven inches taller than I, and blessed with incredibly long legs that carried her forward, leaving me far behind. She looked over her shoulder at me, her smile wide.

"Come on shorty, keep up!" She called playfully towards me. I huffed in frustration, rolled my eyes, and over to where she was. My backpack was, as always, an uncomfortable burden. Every time I tried to run with a backpack on, it was more like a waddle. I really didn't care what the other students said, but as I reached Dory, She just smiled. "Sophie! It's so great to see you! I thought I wasn't going to see you until class started!" She teased, tossing her long, mousy brown hair over her shoulder casually.

"Oh you're funny." I muttered, unable to find a better comeback. We walked in silence for a while, trying to get to class on time. Thanks to the construction, we had to walk the long way to class, which was on the other side of the campus. Not only that, but we had to make our way through a sea of people going the other way. But we made it, finally. My Advanced Biology class was humming with excitement as Dory and I walked in. Dory and I parted ways, as I sat down at my table.

"Hey Sophie! You're looking mighty beautiful today!" My lab partner, Flynn greeted me with a cheesy smile. I rolled my eyes, and sat down, grabbing my binder from my backpack. "What no hello?" The male asked, giving me huge, puppy dog eyes.

"Hi, Flynn." I said flatly, and glanced at the teacher, Mrs.Oxford. She had finished taking attendance and was making her way to the front of the classroom. She was one of my favorite teachers, because she was smart witted and wasn't affraid to threaten a kid to beat him. Of course she did this playfully, but she would still get in trouble if administration found out. The class went by fast, and by the time the bell had rung, I had taken about three pages of notes. Serves me right for taking a college class. Everyone began packing up their things, eggar to be dismissed.

"See you guys tomorow! And all you in Oxford's class next hour, good luck." She said. A symphony of chairs being pushed out then began, and everyone crowded out the door and to their next class. I stood too, but slightly puzzled. Why would Ms. Oxford give us good luck wishes for Mr. Oxford's class? Mr. Oxford was the Audio/Visual teacher, and also my next class. He was one of my favorite teachers also, but with his blunt personality and his critical criticism, it made him one of my least favorite teachers as well.

I met Dory at the door, and we both walked to Mr. Oxford's room, which wasn't too far away. We walked through the doors and realized that we were some of the last ones in the room. Almost on cue, the tardy bell sang, and we shut the door behind us. Mr. Oxford's room was huge, with rows upon rows of computers lining the walls and, on the east wall, was a huge green screen that I've grown used to staring at all semester. The people in the room were seated in groups of four, except for mine, which had only three. Dory went to go sit with Elija, Bertha, and Christie, and I went to go sit down with Hazel and Senna. I always dreaded seeing Senna's face every day, hearing her obnoxious laughter and listening to her go on and on about her Boston guys, and how they were so cool. But Hazel understood my frustrations for the most part. I walked up to Senna talking in low whispers to Hazel, but upon seeing me she stopped talking and began looking around the room nanchelauntly.

"Hey, Sophie." Hazel said with a smile, and i smiled back. She was one of my best friends, one I could tell anything to. I said hello back, and Senna whipped her head around quickly.

"You guys, hes telling us what our finals are today." She said, mostly to Hazel but I heard it too.

"I've talked to people who took this class before, They say that it's different every year. Last year they did Westerns, and the year before that they did some StarWars thing." I said quietly. They looked at me, then to eachother. I looked down with my soft green eyes and then back to them.

"I hope it's something cool then." Hazel said, and just as the last words escaped the tall blonde's mouth, Mr. Oxford stepped out of his office. He was a stocky man, tall, and ginger headed. He was a middle aged man, balding, with a huge mustache that I couldn't see him without.

"Your final." He said. The man was a man of few words, I had found out my first year having him. Everyone of us turned our heads to look at him. "Is going to be a Super Hero movie." Almost at once, the whole class buzzed with excitement. Senna, Hazel and I looked at eachother and grinned. I was excited, not only because of the theme, but because both of them wanted me to write the script for the most part. "It will be at least 30 minutes long, and the whole class will be working together. Work hard, your grades for this semester can easily be changed on how you all do on this project." We all looked around at eachother, a newer excitement buzzing throughout the whole room.

I looked at Christie, Elija, Bertha and Dory, and smiled. They would be easy to work with. My eyes flitted to the next group of Mina, Quinn, Chase, and Cory. Mina and Quinn were twins, but were almost nothing alike. Mina was kind of quiet, with short straight hair and had a sweet disposition. Quinn had waist length hair, with clear skin and was amazing at absolutely everything. I sighed. No wonder why every guy in this class liked her, except for Elija, that is. Chase and Cory were amazingly smart, but didn't seem too thrilled about working with all of us. Hmmph. Too good for us I guess. Then I looked towards the last group. The group was made up of the 'band geekers.' This was Hazel and I's affectionate nickname for the group. They consisted of Dustin, an incredibly tall, thin, dark male, with spiky hair and a flirty attitude. The next male was Damien. He was equally tall to Dustin, but slightly chubbier. He wore glasses on his face, and carried the nickname Kent, because he looked completely different when he took off his glasses.

The next male was Dalton. He was shorter, and was quieter than Dustin and Damien. The male was one of my best friends also, but we weren't as close as Hazel, Dory, Elija and Christie were. Dalton and Hazel held a complicated relationship. They had dated for a long time, but parted ways after another male, Oliver, kissed her. Since then, she had been trying to get closer to him. They were almost together, but he refused to make it offical. I looked at Hazel from the corner of my eye and saw her looking at Dalton.

The last of the boys, was a young man named Declan Manuel Rivera. The boy who brought me happiness for eight months, before bringing it crashing down into a pile of rubble. He was my first kiss, first true love. But that all ended on September 28th, 2012 when he told me he just didn't have feelings for me anymore. It was now April 1st, 2013, and it still hurt to look at him. The way he tossed his dark hair that always fell into his chocolate brown eyes, and his constant tapping of the foot still made my heart melt. I've tried to move on, to find other guys. But every time I tried to find someone different, it would fail. He is the only one I want. But he wont even talk to me. Not even more than a simple hello, or a whats up. Nothing. He caught my look and I flushed, looking down quickly.

We spent the rest of the hour talking about what we were going to do, how we were going to divide up the work. It all came down to Damien and Dustin writing the script, Hazel, Dory and I were to make the costumes. Elija, Declan and Dalton were to edit the film. We were all to act in the production, and as Senna had said, so many times before, she wanted to play a major part. Because she was a model after all. The bell suddenly rang, making me jump. I could hear the quiet snickers of Dory and Christie, and I shot them a glare. I stood, grabbing my backpack and paused for a moment, waiting for my friends, before walking to my little blue Volkswaggen Beetle.

Ariving beside the little car, I fished for my lanyard in my pocket and, after retrieving it, unlocked my door with ease. I climbed in and turned on the ignission. I wasn't taking anyone home today, which was a good thing. I wanted to be alone. My stomach growled loudly, but I ignored the feeling of hunger. I wasn't hungry. Instead of thinking of food, I plugged in my ipod and selected a song, which I could loose my mind to. Bulls In The Bronx. Pierce The Veil. Perfect. Though I had acquired this taste in music from Declan, my craving for this mind numbing genre didn't dwindle. I pulled out of the parking lot carefully, not to be hit by anyone.

The drive to my house took about five minutes. I put the car in park, turned it off, and grabbed my things before heading inside. When I opened the door though, all I could hear was screaming.
