The screaming was loud, and intense at first, but then faded away to mumbles of jibberish. I dropped my bags at the door and jogged to where my father's room was. I turned the corner, and saw my brother Laying on the bed, watching tv. I sighed, and walked over to him , ruffling his long curly brown hair when I got there.

"Move, Sophie! You're in the way!" He yelled, shooting me the dirtiest look. I stepped back quickly to get out of the way, and began looking around the room for the familiar red lunch bag. Finding it on one of the dressers, I opened it, and fished out the pill bottle labled Clonozopam. I popped the lid and turned around to my brother. He recognized what I was going to do, and grabbed the nearest gatorade bottle and opened it as well. I plopped the small pink pill into his hand, and he took it easily.

Three years ago, My baby brother Aiden developed Epilepsy. It was a startle to us all, and for the past three years we have been trying to cope, as well as manage the seemingly uncontrollable siezures. He still had one maybe once a day, but they were much more controlled than they were a year ago.

"Sophie." A voice said behind me. I turned quickly, to see my fathers face, just few feet from mine. He was a short man, with a balding head and a salt-and-pepper mustache and goate combo that he has had ever since I was little. "How was school?" He asked quietly.

"It was ohkay... I guess." I told him, not really wanting to talk to anyone. My stomach growled again but I ignored it. Apparently my father did too, as my other brother, Harry, jumped on his back. I cracked a smile and slid past the two and made a quick path towards my room. My house was very empty still from our recent move. We barely had a table, a few couches and a few beds. I sighed, and pulled back the curtain that led to my room.

The room was rather large, and completely spotless apart from the cables littlering the floor beside my bed. I fished out my phone charger and my kindle charger and plugged both devices in. Taking off my shoes, I flopped down on my bed and stared up at the roof. My mind was still racing at the thought of the movie. I was really excited, not only because I got to work with my best friends, but I got to have an excuse to talk to Declan.

I missed him.

So much.

I lifted my phone and found his number, about to text him but I dropped it, not wanting to take time away from his day.

I flashed back to the time when it was raining hard outside and we were in his house by ourselves. His parents were at work, and his brother was at school. We had lay there on his couch for about an hour. No talking. Just the simple companionship of being together. I bolted upright suddenly, and looked at him with a huge grin on my face.

"Lets make cookies!" I squeeled, standing up.

"But babe... I was enjoying that!" The male complained, rubbing his eyes with the heels of his hands. His hair was messed up on one side, and I giggled.

"It'll be fun!" I said, pulling him up by his wrists. Standing at his full height, he was a head taller than me. We paused at that moment, my eyes meeting with his. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and rose onto my tip-toes. He leaned down and kissed me lightly. I could feel him smiling, and I did too.

"Cookies!" I said quickly, startling him. He pulled back and grinned, and we set to work. I pulled out all the ingredients, and he looked for an adequate song to play for the moment. He settled for playing the album 'If you were a movie, this would be your soundtrack' by Sleeping with Sirens. This was a nice median for us, since I was more into country and pop at the time, and he was into more hardcore stuff. He nodded in contentment and placed his phone down on the table, where it blasted Kellin Quinn's voice.

I reached up to grab the flour, which was on the top shelf of the highest cabinet. I huffed in frustration. Why was everything I needed in this house so far out of my reach. I was about to look for a stepstool, but I felt a hand on my waist. This sent butterflys flying in my chest. I looked up to see Declan, grabbing the flour with ease and bringing it down to the counter. Hmph. Showoff.

"Lets get to it then, darling." He whispered in my ear, kissing the top of my head. My cheeks flushed and I turned around quickly, placing my hands on my hips.

"OHKAY!

Mix together the shortening, egg, and confectioners' sugar. Stir in vanilla, cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and flour. Mix well!" I read off the recipe. And we set off to do just that. We mixed them prescisely, and soon we ended up with little balls of cookie dough. Every once in a while, I looked at Declan from the corner of my eye, and saw him completely involved in what he was doing. Using his long fingers to roll the sticky dough into balls. I smiled and grabbed a piece of unrolled cookiedough and smooshed it into his face.

My loving, dark skinned boyfriend looked at me, appauled. I smiled and gave him a little wave. But before I knew it, he had done the same to me. Except I turned, and he placed the cookie dough in my hair. I turned to look at his wide eyed face and I looked at him viciously. Grabbing a piece of dough, I tackled him to the ground, squishing it into his face. We wrestled and wrestled, giggling and laughing at how discusting it was to have cookie dough all over ourselves.

"Babe, you're still beautiful." He told me, reaching out with his hand and pulling a piece of dough out of my hair. I smiled and kissed him.

"can I shower, hunn?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Just take a shirt from my dresser baby, your jeans came out of this battle unscathed." He said, and I did as told, and after about half an hour of scrubbing and washing, I managed to get all of the dough out of my hair. I found something out too. Declan, was the only guy I knew who used conditioner on his hair. I would have to tease him for that later, and I did. Another ten minutes and I was dressed in one of his A Day To Remember shirts, my jeans, and my boots. I walked out of the bathroom, tying my hair into a high bun. I saw him crashed out on his couch, I smiled, so peaceful. That was, until the fire alarm went off, signaling the cookies were about done. I ran over to the oven and opened it, grabbing an oven mit and placed the burnt cookies on the stove.

"Sophie!" A voice called, awakening me from my daydream. I sat up, disoriented. A laugh. I turned to the source of the laugh. A familiar face was staring at me, laughing. "Guys, you have to see the look on her face! Priceless! Soph, unlock the door, we have Pizza and it's getting cold!" I had forgotten it was Tuesday, which we held our weekly Pizza Night, at alternating houses. This week, was my house.

I smiled and stood, a little dizzy. The way my house was set up, was there were three doors. One of which, was right outside my room. I unlocked the door and opened it. A whole troop of people then proceded to march into my room, including; Elija, Hazel, Bertha, Christie, Dalton, and Dory. They were carrying three boxes of pizza, a box of breadsticks, and a box of ThirstBusters. I smiled and shut the door behind them. I wasn't quite up for talking to all those people, since I wasn't feeling that well, but I had to deal I guessed.

Taking a deep breath, I entered the room.
