Chapter 1- Where am I?

The summer holiday starts tomorrow. Yahoo! Now I'll read all the novels that have been pending. Although my friends are going here and there for vacation, I don't care. So what they are going somewhere to enjoy their summer vacation. I am gonna enjoy my vacation as I like. I am gonna lay on the couch all day, eat junk foods and read novels. That's the best vacation I can ever imagine.

I've been waiting for the female lead to melt his heart though I know nothing about practical romance. But I still want to see how it works.

Hmmm. What are these clinking sounds? People are rushing inside and outside of the room. The sounds of steels,door closing, footsteps everything is ringing in my ear. What's going on? I was sleeping on my couch last time and nobody is home except me. Is there a thief? My head hurts,I can't open my eyes.

After trying so many I slowly opened my eyes.

What's this? Where am I? Am I in a hospital? But which hospital is this luxurious? There is a guy standing there looking at me. Who is he? Wait, is he a doctor? This other guy is wearing a white robe with big glasses. So,this must be the doctor. But the question is what the hell happened to me? And where is my family?

Doctor: Congratulations Duke, Duchess is pregnant.

Duke: You got what you wanted, Duchess.

Who is this duchess and why are they referring to me? And pregnant? Me? I didn't even date anyone in my life. How come I became pregnant? Whose memories are these?

These memories...... are so painful.
My chest is feeling so tight as if these were my own feelings. The life of the original owner of this body is so so painful. This body's owner's name is Medea Ordella. This name sounds familiar in a way.

While I was thinking about these things, someone was staring at me with a killing intent. Now that I have opened my eyes, I can see the man standing there clearly. Plantinum blonde hair, shining ruby eyes, perfect jawlines, thin lips and the cold aura around him. That's the duke of ordella, male lead of "Melting the cold hearted duke's heart", the vicious male lead of the novel I was reading. If he is referring to me as duchess, then I'm the woman who can't even survive the labour pain and dies at early age.

No, this can't be. I must be dreaming. When I wake up, everything will be fine.

Doctor: Duchess, are you feeling any pain in your abdomen? Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere in your body?

I'm feeling uncomfortable everywhere in my body that I want to cry so bad. But absolutely I can't say that.
