After getting out of the car, Leonard went up to the door and knocked.  "Oh, hi! You must be Leonard. Leonard Levinski, right?" asked Juliette's mother.  "Yes, that right." answered Leonard as he smiled.  "Juliette told me about you. She said you are a great friend. Anyway, I'm her mother, Wendy Fedgy, but please, call me Wendy. Anyway, the other kids are in the backyard." said Wendy.  "Okay. Thanks, Mrs. Fe--, I mean Wendy."  Leonard left his gift on the gift table and went to the backyard. The first one to spot Leonard was, surprise, Rebecca.  "Hey, Leonard!" shouted Rebecca with enthusiasm.  "Hey, Rebecca." responded Leonard as he approached her.  "So how is it going?" asked Rebecca.  "Pretty good." said Leonard.  "That's nice. Anyway, someone is looking hot." said Rebecca with a smile.  "Thanks. You look gorgeous yourself. Of course, that's always the case." said Leonard.  "Thanks, but, I'm not that pretty." said Rebecca.  "Oh, nonsense. You're beautiful. Any guy would be lucky to have you as his girlfriend." said Leonard.  "That's really sweet, but no I've met would date me." said Rebecca.  "Well how about this: you and I, next Saturday, maybe we could catch a movie, go to a movie, or both. So, what do you say?" said Leonard.  "Are you asking me out?" asked Rebecca.  "Yes. So, what do you say? Do you want to go out with me?" asked Leonard.  "Yes, I'd love to!" said Rebecca.  "Great!" said Leonard.  As he slowly got closer to Rebecca, and leaned in for a kiss, Wendy and Juliette arrived. When they got to the backyard, they made way for the DJ to come in and set up his equipment. Once the DJ got set up, he stared playing music and everyone was dancing. After around fifteen minutes, Leonard noticed that Juliette was  nowhere to be seen. He went over to Rebecca and asked her if she had seen Juliette, bit she says no. Leonard went inside the house and heard someone crying. He checked the living room, the kitchen and the front porch, but he didn't see anyone. He decided to go upstairs. The further he got, the louder the crying got. He went close to Juliette's room and knocked. "Is anyone there?" asked Leonard.  "What? Who's there?" asked Juliette  "Um, it's me Leonard. Is everything okay." asked Leonard.  "No, nothing is okay. Everything is all bad." said Juliette while crying even louder.  "Wha-- What's the matter?" askef Leonard sincerely concerned.  "It's just that, Brad, who I thought was the best boyfriend ever, turns out to be the biggest asshole of all time." said Juliette.  "What did he do?" asked Leonard.  "Oh, nothing much. He just dumped me on my birthday! Apparently, he thought my 'friend' Phoebe was better than me. He had the nerves to tell me that he was cheating on me with one of my ex-friends, and then dumps me." said Juliette while sobbing.  "Well forget him. I know that is much easier said than done, but out there are lots of people who truly care about you. Come on. Get out and let's dance, talk, I don't know, anything than sitting here, crying over someone who clearly doesn't care. He doesn't deserve to be cried for. Come on. I'm here for you. You know I'll always will." said Leonard.  "I guess you're right." said Juliette trying not to cry.  "Of course I'm right. You're too pretty to be crying and ruining your makeup." said Leonard.  "Okay. I'll freshen up. You go wait for me outside." said Juliette with a much more positive attitude. Leonard then walked outside and continued with the party. After coming back, Rebecca wondered where Leonard was.  "Where were you? I missed you." said Rebecca.  "I went to wash my hands and get a drink." said Leonard. He didn't want to tell her what really happened. It was Juliette's business and she would tell people, not him.  "Well, come on let's dance." said Rebecca. The two started dancing and having a good time. Juliette joined them afterwards. She was much happier and was ready to enjoy her party. After dike dancing, Wendy asked Leonard of he could help her with a table and the gifts from inside. After setting up the table, Wendy told everyone to gather around, it was time to open the presents. Among the presents she got were: a pair of boots, some headphones, a gift card to any store, and a concert ticket to her favorite band, Fall Out Boy.  For thee rest of the night, everyone had a great time. Around 10:50 PM, the party was over and everyone went home. It was certainly a great party.
