The start of something new

Mono pov

I watched as Six made it saftly across to the other building, only to drop and run over to the board. She pushed it down as I was able to cross over saftly, I grabbed her hand as the rain started to come down even harder. We had just escaped the hospital after burning the doctor, never gain did I want to deal with another mannequin. I shudder at the though only to look up,

"Hey" I pointed towards an open window, she nodded her head as we both ran to it. I helped six up as she leaned over to help me up next, with one pull I was up and entered the building. We hoped down onto the creaking floor boards, feeling the water run off of us from the rain.

I looked over to see Six fixing her hood, she then gave me a thumbs up. With that I smiled and started to make my way through the new apartment we were in. Knowing that there were towns folk in these buildings, watching the screen with every wave ment danger to us.

We ended up coming across a large hole in the floor boards as a broken tv hung from above, i then noticed the clothing hanging from inside it. Shaking of the goosebumps I felt, I grabbed Six's hand and jumped down. We landed on a partly soaked couch that was halfway into the floor.

Once we made it down I pulled Six towards a door that seemed to have a small crack in it. Happy it was just our size I let go of Six's hand and pushed my way through, I looked around seeing we were now in a long hallway. I started to walk down it only to slightly hear a tv playing a small happy tune from under the closed door. I stared at it for a moment only to feel Six run up to me.

Not wanting to have trouble find us, I grabbed Six's hand and rush towards the door at the end of the hallway. Hoping to not hear anything on the other side, I stopped and told Six to be quite. They understood what I was saying as I listened to the other side. It was quite, no movement no sounds just nothing. I smiled thinking it was safe and started to slightly push open the door, thats when I saw the shadow fly past the door.

I froze and heard the footsteps move quickly in the room, it sounded rushed as if it was agitated. Only to finally move to the far side of the room, I took a deep breath as I slightly peaked throught the opened door.
