Kneeling at his side despite my guards protests I gently turned the shifter onto his back,"Sam? Oh god are you alright?"
He groaned as I helped him sit up,He held his head which I could only assume was pounding. He blinked a few times before looking at me in alarm before quickly pulling me into a tight hug,"Mariana?! What are you doing here?"
I winced slightly as he grazed my neck,"It's a long story,I just woke up myself about 20 minutes ago." He furrowed his brows in concern and began quickly searching me for injuries.
He froze when he saw the hand print,a growl vibrating from his throat.
"Who did this to y-",His question cut off when he laid eyes on Riley, Who was hiding behind my guards trying to stay out of sight.
"Sam no!" I yelled as he shot up,his clothes ripped as his wolf pounced at him,only to be caught by Felix and Demetri. He roared,trying to get to the cowering vampire.
Riley flinched as I raced over and stood in front of him,holding my hands out to Sam,"It wasn't him! I promise! He's trying to help us!"
Sam clenched his jaw tightly,calming down slightly he shook off Demetri and Felix's hands.Taking a deep breath to calm myself I gently pet his snout,I could feel him relaxing a bit at the touch. "It was Luis." His eyes snapped up to me,filling with rage again.
"Which is why i need your help if we're going to get out of here alive." I stated watching his wolf nod,what I wouldn't give to have Edward here to translate.
"We have to find a way to warn everyone about the romanians,they'll kill them all before they get a chance to save us.I'm not going to let that happen so I need us all to work together okay?" I looked up at the boys,Demetri and Felix both watched proudly as I stepped into the rule of leader.
"We are yours to command my queen." Demetri said with a bow,smiling softly I walked over to the box from earlier and picked up the lighter. "It's about time I find a use for this hm?" Riley caught on to what I was insinuating and couldn't help but to worry. "Mar-My queen,while I'm all for fighting,I don't think it's safe for you to be involved." Felix nodded in agreement,"He's right,You have been through enough stress as is and I don't know if the baby will be able to handle much more."
Placing a hand over my womb I thought over their worries,Shutting my eyes for a second I focused on the feeling of the tiny heartbeat. "I want my baby to have the chance of knowing their fathers,their aunts,their uncles,their grandparents,and their cousin. I want them to get the chance to feel the love of a family that won't treat them like dirt..." I said,tears filling my eyes.
"Which is why I'm going to fight to give them that chance." The fire in my eyes told them I wasn't changing my mind.
Sam stared at me before trusting over and rubbing his nose gently against my bump,i smiled and combed my fingers through his fur,"Thank you Sam." He huffed in reply.
