Just Friends (I Guess)

Michael's POV

I heard footsteps, but didn't bother getting up from the curb. I was soaked in mud from the passing cars. Why had I done that? Why had I been so stupid to do that? Why would I even think she liked me back? Why would I ruin my friendship with Luke? Why was I even alive? No one cared anyw-

"Mike?" a soft voice asked.

I looked around and saw what I believe was Chrissy. I was obviously startled as I fell back on a little lanky tree, I should call it Luke.

"I'm so sorry, I ruined everything, didn't mean to scare you," she said.

"No, no. You're perfect, it's all good," I assured.

"I don't know how I feel, I mean, just... Can we go, please? Everyone wants to make sure you're okay."

"Yeah, we can, but Luke is mad at me," I told her.

"We can fix that later."

"Thanks, Chrissy."

I followed her down the road in the chilling night's weather.

Chrissy's POV

I was tired, and just wanted to sleep. I went and grabbed some Advil for my massive headache, and sagged into my bunk. Michael had already went to the front of the bus and went to sleep.

I shut my eyes, and after a while, I dozed off.

I was awoken by someone shaking my shoulder.

"Chrissy, Oh nevermind."

It was Michael.

I lifted my head up and came to see him beautiful green eyes. What am I saying, it's a few weeks of knowing him.

"Yes, Mikey?" I asked.

I called him Mikey...

"Ummm, well, how do I say this? I really like you, and I don't know. Just I want to get to know you, but not now. Maybe in about 3 weeks, we can play some Call of Duty, and just hang out." he said without even mentioning the fact I called him that.

"Sure, Mikey. That'd be great!" I assured, calling him Mikey and not even caring.

"Thanks... Chris."

This was going to be a long 3 weeks. What have I gotten myself into? I wanted him, or did I?
