9. What Happened...

Bella

James started to grin, he finally recognized me.
"it's you. Would you look at that" he said and tried to approach me.

He stopped his tracks since the Cullen got so defensive.

"the girl I left alive. And now you're here. Did you miss me?" he smirked in his sick way.

"how could I miss someone like you" I answered. I could feel my claws growing. My canines itching to come out.
My body was aching to shift and rip him into shreds.

James shook his head "ouch. That hurts me. Even though I wanted to see you again so bad. The things I wanted to do to you"

I was trying won hard not to puke right here and now.

"you have your redhead bitch over there to take care of your 1cm problem" i spatted.

His face changed from a smirk to a furious expression.

"shouldn't we stop this?" Esme asked Carlisle.
I always knew she had a good heart. I hope she wont scold me after this.

I knew my claws were fully out. I was still holding myself back. But it's so hard. I just want to kill him right now.

Unfortunately James noticed my claws and smiled once again.

"my, I see. The girl has become much more. Much dangerous. That bite on your shoulder. It changed you" he licked his lips.

"this is very exciting. Show me. I want to see how strong you are. How powerful" he grinned. It seems like he wants me to fight him.

"I'm not gonna fight. Not against a sad piece of shit like you. It's not worth it" I said while trying to calm myself.

Alice wanted to help me, but she felt how hard I'm trying. So she knew she needed to keep distance or she could get hurt.

"oh? So you don't want revenge? I killed your mother and your dad, remember? You do not want any revenge?" he asked while his face told me that he will plan on something awful.

"I won't" im just wondering how long I can keep resisting the urge.

James smirked. I knew it. He was planning on something.

He looked over to the redhead, she nodded and held Alice in a headlock without even a minute.

Shit.

"I've seen you two being close. Are you still going to resist? Any wrong moves from the family and her head is off" he laughed like a maniac.

"don't fight Bella. Don't do it" Alice spoke.

I need to think. I can't focus. Why is this happening?...

"thats it! Yes shift!"
He shouted.

What? My eyes... I can feel them changing.

I need to kill him. There is no other way. He needs to die.

"you want me to shift? Alright"

I felt everything in my body changing. My bones that changed their form and placing.
The hair that grew out of my skin.
My canines growing.
Muscles and bones. Everything changed.

There I stood, on two feet. It wasn't fullmoon, there was no pain. Just a feeling of relief.

And the urge to kill.

I haven't felt this urge for a long time now. It's... Scary and addicting.

I growled at him and bared my teeth.
He didn't run, he didn't flinch he just stood there smiling.
