"you mean, it's a mate thing"

Yep I just said that. But it is, isn't it? The possessiveness, the claim. I just said the truth.
I am hers.

"so... You know..."
She asked, but it sounded more like a statement.
I nodded and grinned at her.
"of course I do. I knew already since the first time that I looked into your eyes"

Alice smiled and giggled. Gosh I could listen to it all day.

"and you were still able to keep your distance and glare at me?" okay it was hard and I tried my best... But I couldn't handle it anymore.

"at the start. But when we met at fullmoon... Let's just say, the wolf inside me liked you a lot. Still does"
Alice humms happily.

We arrived at the Cullen residence, it was quite a walk. We did put a bit of speed into it.

"so... What do you think? Being my mate I mean" she was nervous. Obviously. Your mate is a wolf. The actual natural enemy of your own kind.

Yet she is mated to one.

"mhm I guess I can say, I am a lucky dog"
I rubbed my neck while saying that.
If I'm being too honest now, it might scare her off...

Wait... Scare her off? Oh for Godssake! Swan she is a vampire.
And being mated also means that I can and should trust her.

"okay I am actually happy, I thought there was no mate for me. But now I am relieved. I do have a mate and she's a beauty on top of that. Cute and beautiful" Alice smiled shyly.

"you think I'm cute?"
She tip toed towards me and had this wicked look in her eyes.

"uh... Yeah"
Okay it's kind of embarrassing... She's making me so shy.

"why can't you look me in my eyes?"
She smirked and tip toed again to my front.
"are you shy? are youuuu ?" she raised her eyebrows.

Okay she's obviously teasing me, oh that little Minx.
She's gonna regret that once I get her in my sheet- no! Stop it! Bad mind!

"whatever..." i stomped back into the house and went to the living room.
Everyone was smirking at me, oh come on!

"eavesdropping is rude" I simply said, they all just laughed.
And I couldn't help but laugh with them.
Even though she wasn't here, I heard her laugh as she went directly into her room.

"you'll be staying over, that means.... You'll sleep with Alice " Rosalie stated.

"wait what?..." sleep with Alice? But it's too soon? And I have never.... Uh?
I blushed so many shades of red.

"what's wrong? You're blush...No! Not that sleep! I mean sleep like human sleep! With dreams and that shit!"

The boys except for Carlisle found this situation very amusing it seems, since they couldn't contain themselves.

Rosalie facepalmed herself for making it sound like that.
" sorry... Wait you blushed so much... Have you never? "

Gosh this situation is very awkward and uncomfortable.
I just looked at the floor, since I was very embarrassed now.

"okay, I think that's enough. We'll be taking our leave then" Alice appeared out of nowhere and took my hand to pull me up to her room.

We entered her room, I looked around while she closed the door behind us.
It was very colorful and yellow, the room just screamed Alice.
