TWO DAYS LATER

Reid walks into a cafe, it's not that full, but there are a few people sitting at tables. Couples and individuals.

He sits down at a table, scooting up in the chair, closer to the table. A waitress walks over to his table. There is another chair, on the other side of the table.

She hands him a menu, he holds it.

"Is that seat being saved for anyone in particular?" She asks, with a smile.

"Oh, no feel free to sit down," He laughs a little bit, "I like company."

The waitress sits down and smiles at Spencer, sitting across from her.

She realizes something, "Oh! I should probably introduce myself, I'm-"

"Julia." Spencer finishes her sentence.

Julia looks confused at how he knows her name.

"Your nametag." He points at it, smiles and laughs again.

"Oh, right." She laughs too.

Her cheeks are bright red, she's blushing. Spencer notices but he doesn't say anything so he doesn't embarrass her.

"Can I get you something to drink?" She asks, "Maybe something to eat too?"

"Yeah, uh I just want a coffee, no food, not much of a breakfast person." He smiles and nods.

"Any splenda or cream?"

"Surprise me?"

"You got it." She gets up and walks behind the counter. She starts making his coffee.

Spencer pulls out his phone and reads his texts. He's got dozens of them. All from the team. All of them asking if he's okay and where he is.

He didn't tell anyone before because he wanted time by himself.

SPENCER: I'm getting coffee at the cafe, I'll be with you guys in about twenty minutes.

DEREK: Okay, let one of us know when you're on your way back.

They exchange those two texts.

Spencer places his phone back into his pocket when Julia comes and sits back down across from him, carefully pushing his coffee to his side of the table.

"One surprise coffee, just for you." She smiles and takes a sip of the water she got for herself.

"Thank you." Spencer smiles back at her. He picks it up and takes a sip. He furrows his eyebrows as he processed how the coffee tastes.

"Oh." He scrunches up his face a bit.

"Is it too sweet?" Julia asks, he starts nodding a little, "I am so sorry I can remake it."

"No, no it's okay." He relaxes his face, "I can still drink it, I'm just not that used to it, that's all." He assures her.

10 MINUTES LATER

Spencer didn't drink all of the coffee. Just about half.

Julia is still sitting with him, They've been talking the whole time. Having plenty of laughs.

"I have to get to work, I'll talk to you later?" He asks, turning his phone towards her, to put her number in.

"Definitely," She smiles, grabbing the phone and putting her number in, "I can walk you to your car if you'd like." She hands his phone back to him.

"Yeah, I would like that." He smiles again and stands up out of his chair. She does the same.

He pulls his wallet out of his inside coat pocket and pulls out a few dollars, and a ten dollar bill. The coffee is only a few dollars, and he gives her a ten dollar tip.
