1:23 AM

Sophia sits on the couch, reading that book that Spencer had handed her earlier. She is about half way done.

Spencer walks into the living room from his room.

"Do you enjoy it?" He asks, sitting down next to her.

He catches her off guard and it startles her a little bit.

He chuckles, "Sorry."

"It's alright, yeah I really enjoy it, I'm half way done." She smiles.

"Well, I'm glad you like it," He smiles too, glancing down and then back up at her, "I'm going to go to bed, are you going to be okay out here?"

"Mhm," She nods, "probably gonna go to bed in a few minutes too."

Spencer nods too and starts to get up.

"Wait, Spencer."

He sits back down, facing her. They face each other.

He tilts his head a little, confused at why she wants him to wait.

She glances at his lips and then back at his eyes. She does it. She kisses him.

He pulls away once he processes what's happening.

"Sophia.."

"I'm sorry-" She stares at him, shocked with herself and embarrassed.

"I-I'm going to go to bed now." He awkwardly points to his bedroom and stands up, making his way to his room.

Sophia closes her book, without bookmarking it, she places it on her stomach. Staring up at the ceiling.

She turns over onto her side, letting the book fall. The brunette closes her eyes, trying to forget the embarrassment she just set herself up for.

6:43 AM

Sophia is woken up to the sound of someone in the kitchen.

She rubs her eyes and then opens them. The first thing she does is looks on the couch for the book Spencer let her read.

It's nowhere to be found, until she looks on the floor, there it is.

She picks it up.

"Sleep well?" Reid asks from the kitchen.

"I guess," She shrugs, "look i'm really sorry about last night."

"It's alright, don't beat yourself up about it." He shrugs.

"I'm not?"

"You are, you're body language tells me everything." He gives her a tight lipped smile.

"Are you profiling me? I thought it was a widely known agreement that we can't profile each other." She scoffs, cracking a slight smile.

"It's simply noticing body language and knowing what it means." He smiles a little.

"That's apart profiling, Reid."

"Yeah, whatever, anyways," He clears his throat, "do you want coffee? Maybe something to eat?"

"No, thank you." She nods at him and gets up, realizing she didn't change out of her work clothes from yesterday.

"Shit." She mutters.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot to pack extra work clothes."

"We can run by your place really quick, if you'd like."
