As a camera focuses on the surroundings, a girl in glasses comes into view, her face unnervingly close to the lens. She squints, frowning. "Uh is this thing rolling?"
She taps the lens as if that might wake up the camera to begin recording. An indistinguishable voice answers, but it's too muffled to decipher what they say.
"Yeah?"
A pause.
"Okie, okie."
The girl darts over and sits on a chair set up in the middle of the scene, the camera zooms in as she slowly sips a cup of tea.
Suddenly, she looks up directly into the camera, feigning surprise at the sight of it.
"Oh! Hello, esteemed panda folk!" she greets. "Thank you for gathering here today on this very special occasion. Put your hands together for... The anniversary of le panda day!"
She grins widely, spreading her hands out like she was embracing the world. But, a few seconds pass and her smile begins to falter. Through gritted teeth she coughs, hand twitching slightly with anticipation.
When nothing occurs, and the prolonged silence begins to feel awkward, she lets out an, "AHeM."
She sighs, setting down her cup of tea, turning her body to face somewhere off-camera.
"I SAID!" she yells, "AHEM?"
*lights shut off dramatically*
OOOOOoOH
"tHIs iS wHeRe THe FUn BeGinS."
