Later That Night
Aurolana teleported to the nearby lake. Zeel joined her shortly afterward, it was not hard for him to detect and use the distortion in space caused by Aurolana's teleportation.
Zeel walked next to the Aurolana and sat, she seemed a bit out of it at the moment.
It was a bad combination to have a team captain that could not keep her shit together on an important mission.
"You liked him but rejected him. Why?" Zeel asked.
"Do you really need to ask?" Aurolana tiredly asked running her fingers above Zeel's hand.
Soon blue sparks appeared on both their hands.
Aurolana held complex feelings for Zeel. She hated his race with a passion, the majority of the souls that would come to heaven's gate showed her the atrocities of Homo-Superiors.
However, at the same time, Zeel was also her soulmate and she could feel anything and everything about him.
Xak was a nice guy but he was not her soulmate and especially not named 'Zeel'.
It was impossible to love anyone else after meeting your soulmate because your souls would constantly crave for each other.
A testament to this fact was Zeel's presence next to Aurolana, even without emotions, Aurolana knew that he had come to mark his territory.
Even without emotions, soulmates were ingrained into your existence at all times.
Aurolana had seen many people killed themselves after their soulmate died, or killed entire worlds to resurrect their soulmate.
"I don't feel anything for you. A consummation of Soulmates would only enhance what you feel for me, but not vice versa," Zeel said.
"I know, but I already feel too much of you. Soulmates are extremely rare, and the moment you meet them, it is impossible to get out of it," Aurolana told Zeel as the blue sparks on their bodies intensified.
"We have managed to hide it for two years now. Just two more and we can address this matter without affecting the team," Zeel persuaded gently moving his hands from Aurolana's.
Contrary to Aurolana's expectations, the blue sparks did not disappear but flickered more intensely.
This was not her doing, that meant that Zeel wanted her more than she wanted him.
Aurolana jumped onto Zeel as she pinned him down and kissed him intensely. Blue-Sparks danced around their bodies as Aurolana's clothing slowly dissolved into particulates.
Every sensation they felt was magnified exponentially by their soulmate connection.
Aurolana could barely contain herself at the moment. She was indulged in the feelings of addiction and obsession that coursed throughout her body.
It was also a painful process, giving a part of your soul to someone else.
Literally, Aurolana and Zeel would be required to tear a piece of their souls and merge it into the missing parts of each other's souls. The bond between soulmates was extremely profound.
However, both Aurolana and Zeel were too indulged in the intense kissing to pay attention to such trifling matters.
Aurolana was inexperienced but instinct took over her rational thinking, she subconsciously ground her hips against Zeel's hardening staff.
The feeling was unbelievable and she was not able to hold on long.
Her garden released wet juices that made her incredibly embarrassed, she was sure that Zeel felt her accident.
