As I walked up to my driveway I paused and questioned how to get inside to avoid my father at all cost. I looked over at the wall near my bedroom window since my room was upstairs. I walked towards it and started to climb up.
Once I reached the top I silently opened the window and swung my legs in and slid into the room. I looked around my surroundings taking in the dim light from the fairy lights I had hung up near my bed. I sighed and walked over to the bed. I texted Lexi, my sister to see what was up
River: Hey sis. Whats up?
Lexi: Hey, RIver. Where are you? dads furious.. And nothing, I'm staking out in my room.
River: I'm in my room.. Climbed in through the window but I need to take a shower because of school tomorrow but i'll get caught
Lexi: Ah, I'm sure Mr. Willsion won't mind letting you in early to use the girls showers
River: yeah.. But you know how I feel about that.
Lexi: It's either that or get caught by dad sis. I would perfer you not to get caught.
River: Okay... I'll text you later maybe.. Imma try to sleep. Hopefully dad dosn't find me or try to call again
Lexi: alright. Night sis, Love you
River: Night. Love you to
I plugged my phone in setting it down on the nightstand next to my bed and flopped down on to the bed trying to relax. I decided to get up and change. All I did was take off my jeans and slipped on some pajama shorts and crawled back into bed and snuggled under the covers cuddling a pillow.

I got out of the shower and got dressed into a white tee and sweat pants. I sighed and walked to my room, I wonderd if River was okay and layed down looking at the ceiling. I rolled over trying to get confortable and thought about what kind of deal I could do and drifted off to sleep.

River was asleep, but something was bothering her. She gripped the pillow she was cuddling tighter and started to tremble in her sleep. She let out silent whimpers and her breathing went shallow and quick. A few minutes passed and her whimpers grew frequent. Soon she jolted upwards, breathing heavily her hands formed fist on either sides of her hips as she silently cried.
She got up and snuck to Lexi's room and nocked. Lexi was a light sleeper and got up to answer the door. When she saw River her eyes widened but stayed soft with worry and pulled her sister into a tight releaving hug. River nuzzled into her sister as she was led to the bed.
For the rest of the night River stayed there and they cuddled the night away.
~Time skip: 4 am~

I woke up in my sisters arms and smiled soflty. I got up silently to not wake her up and snuck back to my room before dad or mom got up. I changed into leggings, wearing the same hoodie and grabbed my school back pack and shoved my uniform inside along with a change of undergarments. I grabbed my phone, ID, charger, and earbuds. I snuck downstairs to get a small snack.
After I finished I left the house and made my way to the school. School didn't start until 6am so I was a few hours early but they had study hall from 5 to 6. Long enough for me to find Mr. Willsion to ask about the showers.
I looked at my phone and walked slower. After a few minutes of scrolling I bumped into someone. "O-Oh, My bad! I wasnt paying attention-" A familar voice cut me off. "Yeah you better be sorry bitch." I didn't look up knowing damn well who it was. Carter Roe. One of my school bullies. I began to back up only for him to grab my face violently making me look up at him. Carter was taller than me, 6 foot 7 inches. He had peircing green eyes. short balck hair and a lean frame.
"where do you think your going?" He sneerd down at me, pinching my cheeks harder making me wince. I stayed silent wich only pissed him off more. " I asked you a damn question!" As he spoke he pushed me onto the ground and towered over me. "N-no where.." He didn't belive me. He narrowed his eyes and crouched down to my eye level.
Just as he was about to say something I got swept off my feet by Axle who looked rather pissed off. "Stay the fuck away from her Carter." He snarled his words out and walked away carrying me. I nuzzled my face into his shoulder and sighed. "Are you okay?" he asked, I could hear the genuine concern in his voice "yeah.." Axle sighed and kept walking, on his way to the school.
I wished Esmeray was here, her voice was soothing like honey. I looked up at Axle as he carried me and smiled softly.
~Time skip: First hour~
My hair was still dripping from the shower as I sat down at my desk in the back of the classroom. The teacher was late. Mr. Toko. He was an older man, maybe in his early, mid thirties with black shoulder length hair and yellow eyes. I saw the seat a few rows infront of me where Nightmare sat and sighed sadly gazing at it.
I must have fallen asleep thinking of the memories I had with Nightmare as I sat up startled for having Mr. Toko yell my name from the front of the class "Miss River!" "Ah! Gomen, sir!" The class snickered and chuckled through out themselevs. I sighed and pulled out my notebook and pencil and started following along with the notes.
~Time skip: Lunch~
My phone dinged and I checked it
Esmeray: Hey
River: Hey, Esmeray
Esmeray: Whats up?
River: Nothing really.. Just waiting in the line for lunch
Esmeray: Oh, school huh?
River: yeah.
Esmeray: Ah, well, good luck. Can you text me when it's over?
River: Sure
I smiled and put my phone away as I reached my turn to grab a tray. My mouth watered and my stomach growled. Todays lunch was orange chicken and rice. I found a spot under a cherry blossom tree in the feild of grass by the lunch area.
