Reunited

Chapter 6

"What? Are you kidding me? I have an appointment in an hour." Soo Hyun asked in disbelief as he checked his watch, an hour left before their shoot for Gold Medalist profiles.

"Yah. How can you be so cruel? Look at that kid, she haven't eaten her lunch yet. And it's not that I want to be stuck here, damn this stomach."

Soo Hyun peeked his head outside the restroom to see Taec Yon a little girl patiently waiting for her Uncle. He glanced again at his watch, it's already past lunch time and he cannot believe that Taec Yon didn't feed her yet.

"Don't worry, I'll follow you two, just go ahead first, she might be hungry." Taec Yon reassured him.

"Fine. I'll just send you the restaurant address."

Soo Hyun immediately informed his manager that he might be a little late for their today's photoshoot. He told him that he will just follow at the place after he settled some personal matters.

Mr.Ryu was hesitant at first, and offered that he will wait for him instead. But after hearing his another request, to book a private restaurant for two, it seems like he understand the message already.

"Uhm, I think your Uncle will take a more minutes inside, are you hungry, do you want to eat?" He sweetly approached her, that made her full attention turn into him instead of her script.

She stared at him for a while.He was taken aback a little when his eyes met hers. Eyes that felt familiar to him, he was not sure what is it that he's feeling, but it felt something like he met before. She was too busy earlier looking at her script that she was not able to give her full attention to him.

"Sorry, but my mom said "dont talk and don't go with the strangers" she said honestly making him chuckled.

He realized that he is still stranger to her, and what made him think that she will just willingly tagged along with a stranger. She's a smart kid.

Just as he was about to go inside the restroom for Taec Yon to help him out, Taec Yon responded to their conversation.

"Hye Sooyah, come with that ahjusii. Don't worry, he's my friend! I'll just follow you two, okay?" He said loudly enough for Hye Soo to hear outside the restroom.

"Is it delicious? Do you want more?" asked Soo Hyun who's been happily watching Hye Soo dig in the food serve to them.

With her reaction, she's definitely delighted from the food served on the table.

She smiled and nodded, "I love this, how come you already know my favorite, did my uncle tell that to you?" she said as she took another piece of tonkatsu he cutted for her.

"Really? Is that your favorite too?" he asked unbelievingly, he just choose this dish as it was his favorite and she might be fine eating with this too.

Soo Hyun was very pleased that she's enjoying the food. He grabbed the plate with some cheeseballs on and put some on her plate.

"Try this too."

"Oh!" she exclaimed after taking a bite, as if she just remembered something. "This is what my mom brought home last time. I like this too!"

While munching in the cheeseballs she suddenly asked a question, "Mister, can you please tell my mom the name of this shop? I asked her to bring me home but she said she doesn't know the shop. She told me that someone just gave it to her."

"Really, should I meet your Mom and tell her?"He said jokingly.

"It's fine. She doesn't have a boyfriend. And she's pretty too."
