Reunited

Chapter 5

"Mom, how many more minutes until Uncle Taec Yon will pick me up?" asked the little girl who's been standing at our doorway, patiently waiting with her bag on that I filled with snacks.

"You still have ten minutes, dear. Come to Mom first, I'll fix your hair a bit." I smiled as I gestured her to move nearer to me.

My daughter has been really excited for today,that she woke up earlier than her usual time on weekends, I was kind of surprised when I saw her fixing her bed already just when I was just about to wake her up, I didn't realize it was a
big deal to her until she said something that made me feel a little guilty.

  "I miss playing outside,Mom."

   Busy schedules had piled up lately that I forgot to do our routines in Spain. She always look forward to weekends as I always take her outside.I should clear all my schedule for the next weekend, though work is one of my priority, she is my utmost priority.

Taec Yon happened to be Hye Soo's baby sitter for today. I am not sure if I can fully trust him with my child, but he is my last hope for today.

Our Ahjumma received an emergency call last night from her son, that she needs to come home for a while. Both of my parents are in Daejeon today as they visit some of our relatives there, they will surely travel back to Seoul if they will learn about the situation now, however I want them to enjoy their time there, as they go out very rarely these days. My sister along with her husband is very much busy too with their own business.

    It would have been fine if I don't  have something on my schedule today, However I was informed that we will have a photoshoot today, as we will be introduced as new artists under Gold Medalist.

  "What's our rules, Hye Sooyah?" I asked, checking if she could still remember what I have told her last night.

   "First, don't leave Uncle Taec Yon's side."she started with her showing me her pointy finger.

  "Uh huh, second?" I asked while still fixing her hair clips a bit.

"Be polite to Uncle Taec Yon and to elders."she said with her matching bow. I chuckled at her gesture.

"And but most importantly?"

"Enjoy and have fun!"she said grinning from ear to ear. I smiled, what a beautiful site. What have I done in my past life to deserve someone like her.

"Mom, is my script inside my bag already?"

Oh. I almost forgot.

"Oops. Mom almost forgot, give me your bag I'll put it inside." I said squatting on her level. "Don't you want to practice with Mom instead?" I asked wanting to make up for her as  I was being absentminded lately.

"It's fine,Mom. I will  practice it with Uncle Taec Yon later."

  "Taec Yon?" I asked as I furrowed my brows.

  "Yes, Mom. Remember we saw him before in tv too, right? That means he has same work with you."

  "Yes dear, but he hasn't  act for ages, I'm not sure if he could help you a lot." I said jokingly.
"Practice with me after your playdate okay?"

   She nodded happily, I was about to stand up from a squat when she turned to face me and give me a quick tight hug before she ran into our doorway again to wait for her uncle.

Third Person Point of View

    The little girl, Hye soo is really filled with much excitement, thinking about going to the park, which her Uncle Taecyon had promised her, she couldn't wait any longer.
