The First Step (Male! Raya x Reader)

Chapter 11: Saving Fang

Ram was silently headed to the palace with his sword without the sheath. The people of Fang started to head out of the kingdom as the Druun were attacking the citizens. Two Druun came in front of him but he used the gem to scare them and out of his way.

He went inside the throne room and he saw Nakai on top of the throne with his back turned.

"NAKAI!"

"Let's finish this, binturi." Nakai said with anger as he pulled out his dual swords and walked downstairs. He was full of rage inside because his mother had recently turned into stone.

Ram dropped down his cape and the hat as he frowned and glared at Nakai who just arrived at the bottom floor. They both grunted before they went to strike the opponent with fury in their hearts.

You and the others just arrived at Fang as you watched the people freaked out and walking towards the exit. You saw the Druun went to you but Boun went in front of you and used the gem to get them away since you were the only one who didn't have the gem. You stared at the brutal battle between the princes from afar.

"Ram! Nakai!" You yelled loudly to the two but neither of them noticed or turned to you. 

"He cannot see us. Ram's blinded by his own rage." Tong told you, your face was full of disappointment as you couldn't figure out how to stop the princes from their anger.

Boun then noticed the gem's light was blinking like it was fading. "The gem's power are fading!" 

You looked at Boun as he showed you the gem. You looked around the area as the Druun was still attacking the people. "All these people are Druun food if we don't get them out! Go rescue them! Boun, Come with me!" You quickly got on Tuk Tuk, Boun grabbed your hand as he took a seat in front of you. Tong, Noi, and the ongis nodded before they went separate ways to save the citizens.

Tuk Tuk moved the remains as the children were trapped inside. "It's okay. We're gonna get you out of here." You told them calmly as the children nodded with their bodies shivering. You made the children sit behind you as Boun scared the Druun out of the way with his gem. 

"Stupid Druun! Out of our way! Go, go, go!"

The old woman freaked out as she didn't know what to do, but suddenly, she got put on Tong's shoulder. "Up we go! Yep!"

One of the Druun went to the couple as they shut their eyes, accepting the death but Noi and the ongis came to save them in time. They were both confused for a while before Noi gestured her hand for them to run.

"Go, go! Hurry! Get to the water! Keep going! Keep going!" You yelled as you already sent the children to the exit. You turned Tuk Tuk to save the others, Tong made the people who he carried on his back and shoulders go down to the front gate, and Noi and her gang led the couple out.

While you and the rest were saving people, Ram and Nakai kept fighting as the palace started to crumble. Ram blocked the dual sword as he tried to strike back. As Nakai blocked Ram's sword, he kicked his foot to trip him but Ram quickly blocked his attack and kicked him out of him. He then detached the sword as it stuck on the remains before he pulled it down, meant to crush the binturi down but he luckily dodged it.

Nakai coughed before he squinted his eyes to look for Ram, Ram came out of the drapery and struck at him while Nakai could only block him. Ram grabbed his left wrist before he made the sword slip off him, leaving only one of it.

Ram then managed to flick the last sword off his hand before he kicked him to the ground. Nakai looked at the necklace and then got out of him and he quickly grabbed it before he sobbed. "I never meant for any of this to happen."

"LIAR!" Ram shouted as he raised the sword, ready to strike him. 

"I don't care if you believe me..." He looked down at the necklace and the bracelet on his wrist. "Sisu and (Y/N) did. But you didn't trust them." Ram frowned confusingly as Nakai kept talking. "That's why we're here. Do whatever you want. But you're as much to blame for Sisu's death and (Y/N)'s sadness as I am."

Ram lowered the sword before he watched the reflection of his eyes as he realized what it was. He then heard the distant voice of you shouting. "Tong, there are still people back there!"

"Hurry! We're running out of time!" Boun shouted as he gestured his hand. 

"Got it! Everyone, out! Come with me!" Tong yelled as Noi was in his arms. Ram looked up as he was panicky, you were in danger while he was just buried himself in his rage, completely ignoring you.

Nakai raised his face up as he didn't see Ram anymore. "Help! There's an injured person here!" Nakai looked up as he heard your voice yelling, you were supporting the man as he was having an ankle twisted and couldn't walk. Nakai's eyes widened slightly as if you didn't have the gem to protect yourself from the Druun.

He knew instantly in his heart that he needed to leave the grudge of his Ban Be behind to save you and his people, although he would be hated as the one who killed Sisu forever.

Boun was using the gem to push the Druun, you were holding onto his shoulders as you were clinging to him. Suddenly, you saw Ram land not far from you and used the gem to push them away from you both. 

You and Boun smiled widely as you were carrying the child while Ram and the others blocked the Druun out of you. You saw Tuk Tuk roll himself as the survivors were on top of him. "Okay, Tul, these are the last of 'em. Go! We're right behind you." Ram said as you passed the child to Tuk Tuk, Tuk Tuk then rolled to the exit, unaware two Druun that waiting for them.

"TUK TUK!" Ram and you shouted as Tuk Tuk quickly braked his speed down but Nakai went in front of him before he used the dragon gem to scare them away. 

"What are you waiting for? Go!" You and Ram watched Tuk Tuk go away and you three stayed silent for a while. 

The floor suddenly crumbled as it began to shatter, and you lost balance as you fell to the ground. "RAM! (Y/N)!" You turned as the rest came to you. 

"It's the one who slayed Sisu!" Tong said with fury as the others frowned with the same feeling. Nakai frowned with gritted teeth, you felt the floor crumbling as you fell deep down into the darkness.

"(Y/N)!" Ram, Nakai, and the others shouted to you before they all fell down along with you.
