Lucario was hitting steelix with aura spheres then Brock mega evolved steelix and phoenix mega evolved lucario which surprised everyone except serena as she already knew that then steelix started charging a flash Canon but lucario finished the battle with a power up punch before steelix could fire and phoenix won the Boulder badge and Brock also joined them.
Then they traveled through Mt.moon and saved Clefairies from bitch or butch whatever you call him and cassidy. A Clefable gave them moon stones for saving them serena caught an eevee who loves dancing who evolved into a sylveon

and serena won the cerulean city contest with fenikin and sylveon's dancing skills got a 30/30.
While traveling to Vermillion City phoenix caught a Tauros, Arcanine, Charmander which was abandoned by his trainer, a bulbasaur and a squartle while serena caught ninetales a Jigglypuff who loves to sing but it kept useing sing move so serena thought it how to not use sing when it wanted to sing normally and also saved an galarian rapidash with wings from pokemon hunters who were going to sell it and it came with serena.

Surge chose raichu and phoenix used pikachu surge said that pikachu can't defeat raichu thats why he evolved his pikachu into raichu as soon as he got him but phoenix still used pikachu and won easily with pikachu's speed and said that a raichu can only learn moves like quick attack and agility as a pikachu.
