Today is the day when our heroes begin their journey will they get normal kanto starter or more special pokemons

Phoenix and serena are going to professor oak's lab to get their starter pokemon.

"Serena which pokemon are you going to get as your starter"said phoenix as they were walking to oak's lab.

Serena's pov

I didn't even think about it

"I didn't think about they are all nice pokemon" I said nervously

"Don't worry you can decide once you see them.you could also ask them who wants to perform as your dream is to be a top coordinator and then the kalos Queen"phoenix said he always knows the solution to my problems he is the best! I can't ask for anyone better than him as my best friend.looks like we arrived.

Third person pov

Serena and phoenix are standing in front of oak's lab. Gary, leaf and their third Friend chase who moved in pallet town 1 year ago also arrived to in front of oak's lab as phoenix ringed the labs door bell. 1 minute later oak opened the door.

"Hello everyone you are here to get your starter pokemon if I am correct"said oak as everyone nodded in conformation.

"So come in"oak said as they entered the lab then.

"I will choose my starter first gramps as I am the greatest here" said gary.

"Yeah gary you are the greatest ...............
....fool you asked your cousin to be your girlfriend"said phoenix as everyone even prof oak couldn't control their laughter and started laughing.

"Now let me get my starter"said gary blushing from embarrassment.

"Ok go ahead"said serena.

"I already decided which pokemon I am getting and he is squartle"garysaid as oak gave him squartle's pokeball who was happy.

"I got the best pokemon"said as he got to squartle and picked him up in his hand.

"Gary you are too cute! Exclaimed leaf with a cute look.

And gary blushed a very bright shade of red.

"Leaf you can choose next"said said gary, chase, serena and phoenix.

"Ok Charmander will you come with me on my journey"said leaf smile

"Char char mander char"said Charmander as saying yes.

"Chase now your turn to chose"said phoenix and serena.

But chase didn't hear it as he was like daydreaming or something.

"What is he thinking that he didn't even hear what we said maybe elaine will know I will ask her later........................ Of course he is waiting her as she is his girlfriend" thought phoenix and smirked as he realized what is happening.

"Chase, chase, chase CHASE"serena said and shouted the last part.

"Were you thinking when will your girlfriend will arrive"phoenix said with a smirk.

"ELAINE IS NOT MY GIRLFRIEND" shouted chase.

"I didn't mention her name. so she is your girlfriend! said phoenix with a smirk.
