THE NEXT DAY, the teenagers resumed their natural places in Eric's basement, trying to come up with some sort of happy ending to this wedding madness.

"Um, guys, Donna's on her way over and she knows we all know why Eric left, and she wants some answers," Jackie informed.

"Well, I'm not gonna tell her." Steven quickly interjected. "Give Donna bad news and she hits. She wasn't on the J.V. boys wrestling team for nothing."

"Okay, well I can't do it. The last person a girl wants to hear bad news from is a woman who has it all."

"I can fix that," Scarlet threatened with balled fists.

Scarlet didn't mean to snap at Jackie. The thing was, she thought the younger, self-conceited, diva was finally out of the picture once she and Michael broke up.

Now she was still here and dating Steven Hyde out of all people! It also didn't help that Scarlet noticed Steven had objectively gotten more attractive over the years with his newly toned arms and budding scruff.

In another life, Scarlet would be where Jackie was, no doubt. Therefore, Jackie had beaten her in a sense. And when Jackie won at something, she wouldn't let the world forget.

"I'm sorry, who are you again?" Jackie retorted.

She knew perfectly well who Scarlet was and just wanted to assert her dominance as the queen bee of the group.

"Girls, you're both pretty." Michael intervened. "But we have a serious matter on our hands. Big Red is gonna storm through that door any minute."

"Well, I'm not telling her. I just got back . . . let me settle in a bit before I start causing drama." she relaxed in her seat before sending a brief glare to Jackie.

"Well you can count me out. I won't face a girl when I ditch her. I'm not gonna do it when somebody else does." Michale explained, taking a seat on top of a freezer.

"I'm not telling her either. I don't want my personal parts damaged. I mean they're practically brand new." Fez whined.

"Well, in a deadlock such as this, we're forced to turn to our judicial code." Steven declared, standing from his usual chair. "Which clearly states, that in the event of bad news being delivered in reference to a canceled wedding . . . the foreigner does it."

Terrified, Fez jumps out of his seat.

Classic Steven, Scarlet thought.

"Ah, yes, the uh -- The Immigration Conversation Act." Michael joined Steven.
