It's been years since what happen with my father. Michael and I have been married for 20 years now. We have 4 beautiful babies, well their not babies anymore.  More like tennagers. Michael Jr. Is 19, Lyric Katherine and Jaden Joseph are 16 (twins) ,  and Harmony Elizabeth is 12.

Miles Michael is 21 years old, its crazy how fast he grew. He such a good uncle, along with Harmony. Harmony decide to join Michael in the music business.

"Mom, where's dad?" Mikey (michael jr.) asked.

"He's working i think sweetie." I replied.

"Oh, well can I ask you something? " he said.

"Sure. " i said giving him my full attention.

"And will you give me an actual answer. " He said sternly.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Why haven't I ever met my grandpa on your side?" He asked.

Oh shit.... I should have known he's was going to ask that again.

"Sweetie is it really that important? " I asked.

"Yes mom.  I'm really curious. I mean can you blame me for wondering? I mean grandma raised miles on her own,  every time someone ask about him you like shut down. Mom i really wanna know. Im 19, i think im.old enough." He said.

"Your right,  you are old enough. My dad is in prison." I said.

"Why? " he asked.

" This stays between us, your father will freak if he knew I was going to tell you. "

"Yes ma'am. " He replied.

" my dad is in prison because he could not accept that I was in love with your dad.  He was very racist. So I moved out,  then a year later I ran into your dad. Someone snapped a picture of its kissing and my dad saw it and beat me. I didn't talk to them for 7 years. He started to beat your grandma and Harmony so they came and moved with me. I ran into your dad again and I refused to speak to your dad. But one night I came home came the hospital cause he had beat and rape grandma. He got into my apartment and tried to kill me then your dad for some reason was at my apartment.  Then he tried to kill your dad then the  cops came.  Been locked up ever since. " I said.

"Dang. .... that's crazy.  So Miles was convinced by rape?" He asked.  I nodded.

"That's so sad. how could grandma be with someone so cruel?  She's so nice." He said. I just shrugged. "Do you ever want to go see your dad? " he asked.  That question caught me off guard.  I never thought about going to see him. "I want too." I heard Miles say.

"How long have you been standing there? !"I asked in a panic. "Long enough.  I wanna meet my dad or sperm donor."

"I wanna meet him to mom. " mikey said.

"I cant,  your father will kill me if I do and so will mom. " I said.

"Ariel, common. .....I deserve to meet him. You know mom will never take me to see him.  Please? " Miles begged.

"Just let me think about it okay? And this conversation stays between us?  Got it?" I did sternly.

They nodded.

I sat on the couch feeling completely discombobulated.  I haven't seen the man in 20 years. He nearly killed Michael and i. But miles does deserve to meet him.

"Miles! Mikey!" I hollered.

"Yes? " they both answered smiling. 

"Monday. We'll leave early.  Tell mom I'm taking you guys out to look to visit aunt Marilyn. I'll tell dad the same thing."
