Chapter twenty

7:00 AM
Friday
It's been a few month now and everything was going good, i got acting jobs wich made me happy and of course cate made me more then happy.
But lately she's been acting i don't know... weird.
She stays out late and barely is home and its not an acting job because shed tell me.

It was now 8 am and i decided to get up. I went downstairs and ate some breakfast. When I was being breakfast Cate was in the bathroom getting ready.she forgot her phone on the counter so when it got notification notification I just looked at it

<3: yes we'll meet tonight at the restaurant at 8 again. Can't wait :)

That's what it said and obviously I didn't think that it was just a friend.who is it? And meet..again ?!
Something wears definitely going on so i decided to try and find out what that was.
Cate came back from the bathroom.
,,Cate what are you gonna do tonight ? I thought about watching a movie'' i said while eating my cereal.
,,sorry sweetie i have a meeting tonight for a new.. project'' cate said. She paused before saying meeting so its clear.
She was lying.
Cate and i were normally always 100 % honest with each other that was the key to our relationship.
i decided to try and follow Heer tonight. i truly cate with all of me but still im just so curious about what's really going on.
The rest of the day I talked to my agent and did some paperwork

7:30 PM
,, y/n !!? im gonna go now bye. i love you'' cate screamed because i was upstairs.
,, see u later. love u too'' i answered.
seconds after the door closed i got into my car and started to follow her.
after about 40 minutes i lost her but i saw that she was on the right side of the street so she has to be on her way to ,valentinos' it was our favourit restaurant but its usually closed on Fridays so its kinda weird.
i drove there and i was right cates car was standing there and the door to the restaurant was weirdly open. @
when i stepped in i saw something did not expect.

On the way up to the deck the stairs were filled with rose petals. Cate and i always took the spit on the deck so this was getting more confusing.
I arrived upstairs and i couldn't believe my eyes..

Cate stood next to our table with a smirk.
Cate was in my personal favourite suit. She looked absolutely stunning.
,,i just knew you were gonna read the message and come here'' she said while walking towards me and giving me a kiss.
,,im so confused'' i said with a smile.
,,i told Sarah to text me the time i was in the bathroom i left my phone there on purpose sweetheart''
I was about to say something bukt then cate...got on one knee.

By then i was standing there with tears ion my eyes and laughing at the last thing she said.
,,i dont want to be with anyone else expect with you so.'' Cate said and pulled out a small box with a ring in it.

i just looked at her with tears.
,, of course i will!!!'' i said and bent down to kiss her. the kiss was filled with passion and love. i just love this woman.
,, i always liked the idea of y/n blanchett. '' i said smiling.
cate laughed and smiled.
,,well it will be your last name soon enough my love''
