Jeon Jungkook was currently in a mall with his friends Jin and Suga.
The trio had been friends since high school and since Jungkook being an introvert they were his only friends along with Kim Taehyung. But unfortunately today , Taehyung was abroad with his parents.
Jungkook only agreed to come with Jin and Suga to the mall since Jin said it would be a change for him since he and J hope had just brokeup few days ago.
And even if Jungkook always acted like it didn't bother him much, Jin knew better than that.
J hope had broken the boy's heart saying that he didnt feel anything for Jungkook and that he had found the one he wanted to be with and that wasn't him. He was a nice guy to be honest a cheery person to be around but wasn't Jungkook's forever one.
And so J hope had even been nice enough to apologize and leave on good terms. And surely Jungkook would have had become friends with the latter in any other situation but he had told him it would be awkward and J hope understanding the situation preferred not to press the boy.
Few days back
Jungkook couldn't believe what he had just heard, his heart was pounding so fast, a pool of tears had already started forming in his eyes streaming down his face, he couldn't hold it back any longer.
He cut the call and started crying into his pillow, his heart hurt a lot at the moment.
Everything hurt a lot.
Jungkook's POV I ran to my bathroom and looked at my face.
'Maybe it's true after all, nobody will ever want me because I'm so ugly and here I was so fucking stupid thinking that someone would love me for who I am and not because how I look , damn I wish how there were no fucking beauty standards.' , Jungkook thought as he took his secret blade making small cuts just enough to bleed for a moment before they stopped. And somehow he had found this as a method to cope and find relief.
He had cried himself to sleep that day, curling himself into a ball, mumbling inaudible words, audible enough only for him.
Back To Present Jin called out to Jungkook, "Yaaa Kookie you wanna watch some movie ?", Jin being elder than Jungkook and Suga was like a parent for them even if he wasn't exactly older but just by a couple of months.
Jungkook just nodded to what Jin had asked, not even listening to what he was asked. Jungkook's mind was elsewhere, he kept on thinking how all the people he ever dated kept on leaving him for someone else.
Yes, people. Even if he hadn't ever actually gone for a date or actually met up with the couple of people Jungkook had dated before but most of them were long distance or Jungkook was always just too nervous to meet them.
But it was too late when the questions had clouded his mind.
Was he never good enough? Why can't someone love him truly? Why can't he ever find true love like everybody else?
All he ever wanted was someone to love and to be with. Tears started forming in his eyes with just the thought of it.
He just shrugged and decided to not think about it anymore. He knew he had to forget.
All this time he didn't even see Jin's boyfriend Namjoon coming and visiting them either. Meanwhile Suga was bored and decided to play on Jungkook's phone as he chuckled before taking his phone.
He put an instagram story in Jungkook's account that he was in that mall and quietly gave it back who was still in his thoughts.
A couple of minutes later Jungkook got a notification from one of his followers, Park Jimin.
