CHAPTER - 13

December 4,

9 pm

“So … uhm you know I had a boyfriend before dating you. And you know umm.. he… “, jungkook cleared his throat and spoke again , all the while Jimin hummed listening to him intently.

“He broke up with me recently , saying that he loved someone else , so obviously he cheated on me. And I seriously didn’t know how to feel about it.” Jungkook stopped for a moment taking in a deep breath.

Jimin hummed him to continue. 

“Well he wasn’t my only boyfriend , I had a couple of others too, but nothing was serious. Like I mean I was …. But I guess they were not “ Jungkook stopped again , tears threatening to fall. He finally gave in and started sobbing softly.

Finally Jimin spoke up , “ You know jungkook , once I also had someone whom I loved very dearly , I always dreamt we would get married, live in a house with our own little family. But he left me , left me like I was nothing. And I have moved on Jungkook . You should too, not think about your past jungkook , all that matters is your present and future.” Jimin sugar coated jungkook with his words.

“D-Do y-you s-still love that p-person?” jungkook asked still crying.

“ No jungkook , right now I don’t know what I feel for him. Its not love. But its not hate either , you know? Its more like pity. But whatever , I do not care anymore , it was 3 years back.” Jimin spoke.

Jungkook who was crying had stopped to listen what Jimin was saying intently finally spoke up , “Oh so was that your last relationship?”

Jimin chuckled , “ Yeah .. I guess I was not ready for another one. But you… you are an exception kookie.”
Jungkook giggled at the nickname. He loved it when someone called him cute nicknames.

Jungkook took a deep breath. He thought deeply for a moment and then decided he could trust Jimin.

“Jiminah…”

“Yes , kookie?”

“I love you too. I know I didn’t respond before , but it was only because I was scared. “ Jungkook told Jimin.

“It’s okay kookie ,  you don’t have to be scared of me. Hmm? And I Love you more baby"

To say Jungkook blushed a deep shade of red would be an understatement.

He then suddenly frowned for a moment. He didn’t want Jimin to think he wasn’t serious because he had too many boyfriends. He decided to say something but when he opened his mouth , he was at a loss for words, so he decided against it.
Maybe some other time, he thought.

Jungkook and Jimin talked for hours and hours , getting to know each other deeper , both falling for each other hard,

Or just , just maybe one of them did.

They only stopped talking when Jimin noticed the sun was rising already.

They both stopped talking and went to sleep, even though they didn’t want to cut the call , but of course sleep was important.

Jungkook laid in his bed , not able to sleep.

That was when a thought entered his mind.

Why the hell didn’t I video call Jimin?
Hmm I will ask him tomorrow.

He drifted off to sleep peacefully,  Jimin on his mind as usual.

What he didn’t know was that Jimin was partying all the while and making out with other people.
