I struggled, thrashing about, scraping my hands while trying to break free from the iron grip. However, I was not strong enough and strong hands pinned my shoulders against the wall.
"What did you see?" Lex glared at me with those hypnotising eyes.
"Nothing, seriously-"
"What. Did. You. See." He growled.
"The furniture was floating-" I stammered.
"Shhh." He placed his finger on my lips and pulled me towards his room.
When he went in, he locked the door behind him. I could feel shivers running up my spine.
"I guess I had to tell you this after all, I'm not like you, I'm not a human." He sighed. "It's a really long story but I'll just tell you the shorter version of it. I would not like to be interrupted, do you have any any questions right now?" He asked.
"Yes, but I'd like to hear your story first." I was super confused, what was happening?
" I come from a planet named Xervuos. Xervuos is made out of the 7 most powerful elements in the galaxy. Each element represents a group that rules Xervuos. Once these elements are separated, Xervuos will be destroyed.
Xervuosians are immortal and mortal at the same time.Time does not affect them but physical injuries can kill them.
Our planet has always been enemies with Gervasia but we have managed to maintain peace with them for many centuries.
There was a powerful commander Zarugal. He was a lowly commoner but he rose to power due to his diligence and intelligence. However, he was scorned by many people for he was a mixling, born of Gervasian and Xervuosian parents. Many people were afraid that he would one day betray one of the planets, and they were right.
Our Xervuosian spies had caught him plotting with Gervasia against Xervuos.
The spies snuck into his room and killed him while he was asleep.
The scars left on his face by the spies were so hideous that he was buried with a mask.
A few weeks ago, I was being sent to Earth as part of my training as an explorer.
During that time, a man, whose identity is unknown, rose up in rebellion, carrying out Zarugal's plan. The man was wearing the exact same mask that Zarugal wore when he was buried.
As my shuttle flew further away from Xervuos, I could only watch as my planet was being destroyed..." Lex trailed off with a faraway look in his eyes.
"I'm sorry." I didn't know what to say to someone who had just lost their planet. "What do you plan to do now?"
He smiles mysteriously, "Start with plan A."
