They had been working on getting a separate room for Arimya after the adoption was final, and now they were planning on moving her bed as soon as they got home. Arimya began to worry about sleeping in a different room than Alexa, as she had been doing it for so long already, and had done it every summer before this. She slowly walked up to the house after they pulled into the driveway and unlocked the door with the copy of the house key Jade had made for her to have.
Arimya was beginning to think more and more about what living with Jade and Jackson in this big house would be like. Her main thought was how Alexa was only ever here during the summer and would be leaving just before school started in the fall. She realized that she would feel alone most of the time, especially with both of the adults gone at work.
