I was walking down the streets, inhaling the smell of barbecue, feeling the cold breeze brushed against my bare arms, listening to the chattering of the old couple sitting at the mahogany bench about how the teenagers' behaviours affect the society, watching as cars sped up like they're running late to their dinner appointments. I breathed a sigh, taking in the view, stopped in my tracks when I spotted a girl about 6 years of age smiling at me whilst waving her hand frantically. People here are friendly, I thought to myself. I smiled back at her, and she opened her mouth saying, "Michelle! Look mommy, Michelle's here, we can now go home and watch Frozen. Your shift's finally over." the kid said jumping up and down which made her curly hair go in every direction.
I frowned, feeling embarrassed at the moment and continued my sight-seeing here in town. As I looked back, I saw a girl about my age, I suppose, dressed in blue flannel shirt, ripped skinny jeans and a pair of black Vans, well atleast I think it's Vans. I stared at her face, she has a long dark hair, probably reaching her lower back, a pair of dark orbs staring back at me that's made it even more darker with the eyeliner she wore, and what really took my attention was a smirk playing in her lips. And then everything around me went black.
