Lydia's pov:
"Okey.., what about this one?" I held a tank top over my chest while making a duck face. "It's nice," he looked everywhere but at me, looking quite uncomfortable. "You didn't even look..," I said slowly annoyed. He sighed dramatically before looking up at the red top and then up at my face. "It's nice," he repeated, holding his pokerface. It's strange, I'm usually good with reading people, but Derek? He's a though one. "You know, I really should have brought Kira instead of you, she at least pretends to be interested," He just rolled his eyes at me. "Why am I the second one you choose to hang out with, why not Stiles or Scott, aren't they people you actually enjoy being with?" I only sighed before handing him the top. Of course I wouldn't bring Scott or Stiles: Stiles has a shitty taste in clothes and would only made me wear poofy clothes if it was up to him, and now days he only talks about Malia and her progress. And then we have Scott, he like never takes his eyes from the phone now, only waiting for Kira to text him. I turned around, waved away some hair from my face and continued looking around. I really thought Derek would throw the top away, but at my surprise he just followed after me. Lately I've spend more time with Derek, talking more with him, trying to get to know him better. And he's actually very good company (even though he thinks I hate being with him) when he gets out of the 'I'm a grumpy cat who will rip your throat out if you annoy me' attitude.

"Have you ever thought I might bring you with me for shopping because I actually DO enjoy your company? Even though you don't talk that much. And your very grumpy and you grunts..," I turned to look at him only to see him staring down at the prize note. Does he really worry about the prize? He looks like I actually expect him to buy it. "Don't worry about the prize, I'm the one who's going to pay for the clothes of course, you're just here to keep me with company," He looked up from the letters and back up at me, giving me a little of a nod. "Just please try not to look like I'm abusing you here," I nearly begged before turning back to the dress I had giving my attention to.

Derek's pov:
I was still asking myself why I'd actually said yes to join her at the mall, I mean I seriously hate this place. I hate the smell, I hate that it's always overcrowded... But for one stupid reason I still said yes. We'd been here for hours now and my face was soon gone behind the bunch of clothes I was holding. "Are you done yet?" I really isn't a good friend with patience, so it's weird that I've actually survived the hours I've lost to the Queen of Beacon Hills. "Soon, soon.. Relax, gosh..," she whispered, probably not knowing I could hear her. "Why didn't you ask Kira by the way?" I don't know why I didn't ask her that before when she brought it up. "She was going to meet Scott, and since both of them have been circling around each other, waiting for one of them to make a move I thought them spending time together might man them both up. I didn't feel for ruining that for them," she said never taking eyes from the clothes in front of her. I nodded slowly before I felt how tired my arms were. And then, almost like she had read my mind, she said I could lay the clothes down on a bench close to the changing room if I needed a rest.

"So, honestly now, this one or this one?" She turned around holding two dresses up in front of her. The first one was pearl pink and reached her down to her knees (that would probably be the longest I've would ever see her wear) and the other one was reaching her to the middle of her thighs, and it had a beautiful green color and a red bond around it waist. "I don't know," I said while shrugging my shoulders. "Derek, seriously... Wich one?" She looked kind of annoyed with my answer, and honestly I think she knew that I had my own opinion on which to choose. I sighed loudly before slowly pointing at the green one. "Green gets out the colors of your eyes, and it suits your hair," I scratched the back of my neck, trying not to get any eye contact or to see the satisfying look I knew she was giving me. "See, that wasn't so hard was it?" She hanged the pink one back at place and patted me on the chest when she walked past me and began the way to the checkout. Then she stopped, turned around and looked at me: "You're gonna get the other clothes? Hurry up, then I'll buy you some coffee," she said before she fabulously turned away again and walked over to the lady in the checkout. I ended up staring after her a little while before getting the rest of her clothes.
