You do have friends outside of Jedi order which made your social circle a bit bigger, you had friends who are kids around the same age as you. Some of them are senators children and then there were the young bounty hunters and young smugglers. You had yet to talk you master of these friendship because having friends who were bounty hunter and smugglers didn't seem like something good in the eyes of Jedi order.
