as usual you could see him rushing through the hallways. passing his way through all the students gathered. making a way to find one specific brown door that leads to his classroom. his steps became faster and he hurries up as a sudden thought strikes his head.

i wonder what he is wearing today?

as soon as he entered the room, he sat down on his usual spot, second row and second seat from the right. changmin would always sit here, just so that he could look at him.

a loud thumping sound distracted changmin as he sat down, it was his own heart. he started to take slow breaths as a way to control his breathing. he felt the blood rushing through his veins. he continued to breath slowly, breath in, breath out. while at it he placed his bag under the desk and took his school supplies out. once he had them neatly placed infront of him, changmin took his time to scan over the person sitting in front of him.

the person sitting in front of him wore chocolate brown cord reiko pants, pale khaki old school vans and a beige sweatshirt. he resembled a teddy bear, a very beautiful one.

but as always changmin wouldn't have the courage to compliment him. in fact, he couldn't even get a word out when the other faced him. there was no way he could lock eye contact with the other.

soft features, his face was full of soft features. his round head, his curly black hair, his thick, always glossy lips, even his nose looked soft.

except for his eyes. his eyes were the only thing that made him look intimidating. the stern look in his eyes made it impossible for changmin to look directly into them.

in front of changmin sat, kim sunwoo. the person that reigns over changmin's heart since freshman year.

but until now, the only thing that could describe their relationship is, that they are classmates. that's there to it. changmin wanted to befriend him but couldn't. it was impossible for the brown haired boy to greet him without getting all embarrassed. that's why he doesn't. he had never greeted him, he lacks the courage to do so.

until now, they've only talked twice. one time sunwoo shared his material with changmin and told him about their next assignment. changmin was absent on that day, so sunwoo had reached out to him and had helped him. the second time both shared words with each other, was when the teacher wanted them to practice their verbal speech. the assignment was to describe a picture to the person sitting in front of them. in changmin's case that very someone was sunwoo. reflecting back on it, it was somehow very awkward. changmin felt as if all his english speaking skills had left him in that very moment. he stuttered and took plenty of time looking for the right words to express what was on his mind. sunwoo had looked at him, patiently waiting for him to form sentences, nodding once he did so. smiling a few times to assure changmin that it was fine and that he didn't have to be nervous.

"what do we have after this?" sunwoo asked chanhee, a sweet and intelligent boy. he was sunwoo's  desk neighbour and best friend.

even though changmin wasn't the person this question was asked to, his lips softly mumbled the subject they have after this. sunwoo probably didn't hear his answer but chanhee was still happy to answer him indirectly.

changmin moved his head to face the teacher and paid attention to what he was explaining instead of what the two were talking about. english classes and p.e. were the only class which he shared with sunwoo. and these two classes were the only ones in which he wasn't with his two best friends younghoon and haknyeon. what a coincidence, right? changmin thought so too.

the teacher dismissed the class and changmin slowly started to pack his things. he wanted sunwoo to head out first. as the tall boy did so, chanhee walked quietly behind him. he wondered, i dont know if it's just me or if he is really getting prettier every day.
