the moment someone held changmin's wrist, it felt as if he was in a movie. everything felt like slow-motion. he was turned around in an elegant way and it was this moment where something inside him believed, or better to say wished that the person who held him was no other than kim sunwoo.

but life is not a movie right?

as soon as he was fully turned around he faced an eagerly excited eric. the lights were turned off by now but his face was beaming. "they are almost here, you know what we'll do now!! lets go, quick!" 

the younger giggled and started running towards the entrance, while dragging changmin along with him.

they then entered the living room. it was a bit dark. changmin stood next to eric but felt a presence on his left side.

"hi changmin." a deep voice called out. it sent changmin chills down his spine, changmin could get used to sunwoo calling his name. changmin became a smiling mess. "hi" he sweetly called out. before the conversation could go on, the door opened

juyeon entered the room with younghoon and as soon as both of them stepped into the living room they turned on the lights. 

haknyeon and eric let confetti shooters pop and everyone started singing for younghoon. the golden confetti and ballons fell down from the wall and younghoon was on the verge of tears. 

it wasnt the usual birthday song they sung. it was a song his mom sung him everytime he grew a year elder but since last year november his mom was hired for a special project in america. it was his first birthday without her but his friends were here for him instead. not letting him feel any loneliness without his mother. 

they were almost finished when eric turned around to pick up the cake from the table. he started walking through the little crowd with the chocolate cake in his hand. "woooh!!" eric shouted out once they were finished with the song and everyone started clapping. "wish something!!" juyeon called out to younghoon.

everyone looked patiently for younghoon to blow out the candles but were, at least sunwoo and chanhee, surprised by his next action. 

younghoon looked up from the cake and watched his friends infront of him. he then bursted out in tears, he still hadn't proceeded everything. 

"oh no you little baby!!" changmin rushed to him and gave him a long hug which made sunwoo observe the scene very carefully.

"here take these" chanhee stepped out to give him some tissues. "i didn't mean to cry. not this year" younghoon whined in changmin's shoulder. "shh its okay" changmin patted his back.

"so u dont wanna blow them out?" sunwoo called out. "i'll do it!" haknyeon said and was about to blow when changmin stopped him and cheered "let's go younghoon!!" 
younghoon blew the candles out and everyone started clapping. "you are finally a grown up!!" eric cheered happily.

the boyz had a fun time eating the cake and other food. eric had even brought some beer, so some of them had a bit of it too.

once they were finished eating they had a long discussion of what to watch. they then turned on a horror movie since changmin was eager to watch the newly released one called "underground". changmin went forward to the tv  and turned the movie on. once he was ready he turned around to sit down on the couch. the boys left almost no spot on it. chanhee and sunwoo were sitting on the left arm chaise, haknyeon on the right arm chaise and juyeon, eric and younghoon were sitting in the middle. changmin wanted to sit next to sunwoo but his plans went wrong as haknyeon called out for him "won't you sit down? the film started already!" he whined while patting on the place next to him. sighing changmin took place next to haknyeon.
