Y/Ns POV

I got off office early today and thought of cooking something for me and dad. I was now in the kitchen grilling a steak for dinner with some vegetables and paste.

My dad loved to have the steak I cooked.

I set the dinner table for me and my dad.

I heard a car pulling and knew that dad was here.

The door opened and I saw my dad, he looked different today,

he didn't have the worried face that he used to have since the partnership with The Lees ended.

I thought that something good must have happened in the office.

I went to him and hugged him, he hugged me back.

I told him that I have cooked his favourite dinner and his face lit up.

Now we were on the dinner table eating our dinner but there was silence.

I looked towards dad and it was clear that he was bothered by something.

He was like trying to tell me something but wasnt able to put it forward.

I sensed it and asked that was everything fine and he looked towards me.

Now looking directly in my eyes, he told me what will I do if he asked me a favour.

I didnt think much and told him that he didnt have to ask for a favour as he was my dad and I will do whatever he want me to.

But,

The next sentence that came out of him took me back for a second.

You will have to get married to the Kims son, that what he said.

I was shocked for a moment, that he could clearly see.

He stopped for a moment and then told me that,

Mrs. Kim really liked me the day she saw me and

she wants me to be the wife of his son Kim Taehyung.

Dad added that if we get married the two companies will merge,

and it will benefit a lot more than it did before.

Dad didnt say anything for a few minutes and I also sat in silence.

Before getting up he held my hand and told me that, I should give it a think as Kim Taehyung was a good guy and I should get married to him.

It will make everyone happy, he said.
