POV: Your selenas friend and you work at her boutique, you start to notice how Yolanda has been making you and selena distant from each other. On March 31st you and selena were going to rekindle your friendship until the unimaginable happens.
I hop put of bed and get in the shower and put on some makeup and find me something to wear
My cousin walks in and says
Your cousin: "GIRLLL whats in your closet?!?!"
She goes in there and sees the mess in there all the ripped up photos! the dried up tear drops on the photos, clothes and shoes everywhere.
Her: "oh my gosh prima, I didn't know it was hurting you this badly..."
Still her: " your closet is a mess jesus! I'm so sorry I didn't know it affected you like that but I found you something to wear..."
You: "can you hand it to me?!?!"
Her: "of course!"
She hands it to me and its this:

I put my hair how selena wore her hair for the 1994 tma's when she preformed bidi bidi bom bom! (But if your a black reader your hair is in braids and it's in a ponytail with two strands of your braid out)
I walk out of my room my cousin says
Her: "Wow! You look excellent! Now come on"
We drive to the mall and as we're driving there I see selena everywhere and as I keep seeing her I start to tear up
as my cousin is driving she also notices im about to cry she then looks at me and says
Your cousin: "y/n are you really crying?!"
You: "DUH WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE MY EYES ARE JUST WATTERING MY FACE?!?!"
Your cousin: " I cried on my way here to so your not alone okay!"
You:"really?!"
Your cousin: "oh of course I did! Even when I figured out I balled my eyes out! But look at it this way, selena is in a better place and I know the pain sucks cause you can't get her back but she would've definitely wanted you to stay strong for her!"
I listen to what she says! I stop crying and suck it up
Afterwards....
We arrived at the mall and as soon as we get out I see selena everywhere selena shirts selenas name on cars, photos of her I hear her music! After hearing all of that I go into a instant panic my cousin notices and looks at me and says
Your cousin: "HEY HEY HEY"
She grabs me and looks at me and says
Your cousin: "EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY"
I suck it up and walk in the mall and see this beautiful dress
You: " I think this one is the one!"
Your cousin: " really?!"
You: "yup" ------------------------------------------------------------ After that we get in the car and I sit there and just think about how I'm seeing selena's body tomorrow and the thought keeps crossing my mind
My cousin later takes me home and I sit in my room and starting thinking about how I'm gonna deal with tomorrow, just seeing Selena like that will break me down in pieces
I go to sleep and wake up the next morning to hear loading banging on the door
I go open it and I instantly go into a shock
