Vol. 1 Chapter 5 - James' Power

And after the practice of magic and physical. James and Olivia go to their teacher's office to see if James suddenly have any powers.

And as they enter it was only James, Olivia, and their teacher Sophia. Sophia removed the cloak of the item and ask James to place his hand to it.

As James place his hand the item didn't show any status of James.

"What..?" As the teacher speaks the item glows and shows James status but it's very blurry so it hard to read.

As time pass the status become more clearly and show James' ability that he just got from earlier.

[James Johnson. Power: Time Stop]
The user can stop time for 3 seconds and move at his will. If the user keep using his ability, the time stop will increase it seconds.

As all of them surprised because of James ability. James himself burst to happiness, because he thought that he will not have any power. Same as for Olivia too.

The teacher congratulated him for getting his ability. And after that they are now free to go home.

They left the teacher's office and return to the classroom to get their stuff. And walk returning to their home.

As they walk Olivia thank him for saving her from earlier, and ask him how do his ability activate.

He doesn't have a answer. And as they walk he is trying to activate his ability again. He keep trying and trying and suddenly.

Activating it. Everything is black and white, he pick up a rock and throw it in the mid air and the time limit pass and the time continues. The rock falls and surprised Olivia.

"You stop time just now did you!?" As surprised Olivia ask James. And James answer it and continue their talk.

[Time Stop: 3.1 Seconds]

As James return to his house, he immediately run and find his father. And as he find him he told him about the ability he just get from earlier.

"Dad! Mom! I just got an power!" James happily tell to his parents about his power, and both of them is happy for him. James demonstrate his power by stopping time again and throwing a knife mid air, and starting time.

The knife falls as the time continues and surprised both of his parents. And happily congratulates him.

[Time Stop: 3.2 Seconds]

And the day passed and both James and Olivia goes to school together. As they walk someone throws a rock at James.

James sense the rock and stop time and dodges it. He looked at where who throw the rocks but he didn't see anyone.

"What's wrong..?" Olivia ask him and he replies that it was nothing, and both of them continues to walk to school.

And as they finally arrived at the classroom. The teacher enter and tell the whole class that tomorrow they will be having a mock battle on each other.
