Vol. 2 Chapter 11 - Ambush

All the masked guys jumps and attacks both James and Olivia. James has stopped time to dodge their attack while holding Olivia.

Time has start and the masked guy continues to attack them. They tried to escape by running away, but they got cornered.

After that the masked guys throws some knives at them, alerting James and stopped time. He dodge all of it and approach one of the guy and took something. The time start and both of them tries to run again.

They run as the masked guy chased them. One masked guy throws another knife, and James dodge it.

While those masked guy is chasing after them, James stopped time and stopped running. He throws the knives at them that he stole from earlier.

And he start time again, hitting 3/10 of the masked guys. And the rest is chasing after them as they run.

James running every corner of the city and got cornered by them. They pull out a sword and slowly approach both of them.

"I think it's time..." Olivia speaks, and a fireball hits towards the masked guys. It was their classmates.

"Are you guys alright? The squirrel l is holding a paper and when we read it, it says (help) so we rush to find you." Their classmate Jeff speaks.

And their classmates attacks the masked guys and forcing them to retreat.

As everyone asking if they are alright suddenly James' vision become blurry and passed out. They bring James to his house and tell his parents what happened.

"Don't tell me they're after my son because of his power?!" Amelia speaks while worrying.

"We can't be so sure... But thank goodness that James is safe..." Carl speaks to Amelia.

And after that they call it a day and return to their homes safety. And a day pass James woke up.

"What happened..." James speaks as he look at his palm. "Hm..." James thinks as he stopped time and count how many seconds he can stop time.

[Time Stop: 5.0 Seconds]

Time resumes as he speaks "I can stop time for 5 seconds now... Maybe I passed out because I keep using it yesterday..."

James is thinking why is those guys is after him. "Maybe because I have this power..." He thought to himself.

Well he stop worrying and take his breakfast, as his parents ask him if he was okay. And then he is now heading to school with Olivia, like the same thing everyday.

And they finally reached to the class but the teacher is already in there. Both of them take a seat and the teacher raise her hand and show a paper with written words.

The word written in the paper is "You might become a threat to us in the future." And alarm the whole class.

"They might attack us sooner... So the whole school will be our ally!" The teacher speaks the whole class, as they get ready for the villain's attack.
