Vanessa POV
  "Van get up , it's two pm already " Maya squeeze my face tightly .

"God ,how did I sleep so long ?I usual have my alarm on " I yawned.

"Haven't heard any alarm , come down stairs . Mother made spaghetti with meatballs " Maya twirls out the room like a ballerina.

I giggled when she tripped over her left leg .She seem in a overly happy mood , she must've had a good time with Tony yesterday.

I scanned my bed for my phone but then realize that thug MCCann has it .

"Great " I huffed .

My feet touch the freezing ground as I walked to my bedroom mirror. My eyes were red and swollen from crying yesterday. Dry tears were printed on my checks . My nose was stuffy , I could hardly breath .Memories from last night flooded my head causing more tears to fall from my swoll eyes .

"It wasn't a dream " I cried .

"You have two more weeks , so live it your fullest " I forced a smile .

I decide to skip lunch , my stomach couldn't handle a meal . I recalled Xander & I had a date at four pm . Maya let me borrow her phone to call Xander but he didn't answer . I sent him a text message reminding him of our date .

"Don't worry he's probably busy , if anything he'll be at the ice cream shop at four . I know where it's at , I can take you " Maya giving me comfort .

"You're right , I'm going to get ready .Thank you Prima " I smiled.

I took a nice hot shower causing the bathroom to become steamy .

I decided to wear a black & white cardigan with a white tank top and blue jeans . I left my natural wavy hair alone . I did my make up lightly and curled my lashes .

"It's 3:50 , let's go" Maya rushes in my room eagerly  .

"Okay , let's go " I said grabbing my white MK purse .

The ice cream shop was only eight minutes a way .

"So I forgot to mention a small little detail " Maya said nervously.

"What's that's small detail " I rolled my eyes playfully .

"Tony is at the ice cream shop . Funny thing is I never told him I was going. He just happen to be there " Maya said .

I had nothing against Tony . But I think Kevin was right . Tony was bad news if he was running around with MCCan.

"It's fine " I lied .

We walked into the ice cream shop. The shop was spacious and positively clean. In the left corner there were a concession stall of various topping such as gummies ,nuts , and chocolate chips.

Tony appear in front of Maya & I. Her checks became red. Surprisingly Tony was wearing a blue suit .

"Hey ladies " Tony hugged Maya.
"He-y"Maya stutters.
" If you don't mind me asking, why the suit ?" I said skipping hello .
"Let's just say it's for work " he winked .
He grab Maya hand leading her to get ice cream .

I sat at a square table waiting for Xander .He should've been here by now .I bit my figure nails nervously.I even started counting the tiles on the floor.

I then heard someone seat them self at the chair across from mine . I lift my head hoping to see Xander beautiful blue eyes .

"I -" I choked off my own words . My palms became sweaty. My heart raced twenty beats faster . My breathing begin to increase .

"Surprise " MCCann grin .

"Wh-at ar-e you yo-u " I try talking but the words refused to slip out my tongue.

"Calm down . Tony wanted me to come with him .This was a coincidence. I realize it was you and thought that I should return your phone " he smiled .

Who was this man ? This couldn't possibly be the man who threaten my family lives.

He handed me my cell phone . I couldn't help but stare . He was handsome , his honey brown eyes stare deep into my soul. He was wearing burgundy tuxedo and it fit his body perfectly. His brown hair was flawlessly messy .

"Can I get you any ice cream ?" He offers.

"Sorry , I-m waiting for someone " I say fast.

"Doesn't seem like that's someone is coming . What an asshole , I would ever leave a pretty girl waiting " his tone become serious .

"I think I'm going to go " I say looking around for Maya. But she was no where to be seen.

As I try getting up he grabbed my wrist stopping me .

"Look we got off the wrong foot . Please what you saw last night wasn't the real me . I mean it was but if you just let me explain " he says softly .

I almost wanted to listen to what he had to say . But I recollect all the my memories from last night.

"No need to explain " I say pulling my wrist a way from his cold hands .

I walked out but Maya car wasn't there .

"Great ,my phone is dead " I huffed .

" You need a ride ?" his voice tinkled my spin .

"Um , I'll wait for her " I try ignoring his presence.

"You're going to wait a while . I know my boy Tony . " he laughs.

I wanted to scream and shout leave me alone . But he frightens me , I could barely speak to him let alone yell.

"Fine , I'll wait with you " he leaned on a Lamborghini parked in front of the shop.

"What is it exactly that you want from me ? I'm pretty sure you have other people to terrify" I said wanting to take every word back .

He balled his fist up and kept quiet .

"Do you think I want to terrify you ?" He finally whispers .

"What else you want to do ? Please enlighten me . Explain why do I have to be kidnap by you when I turn eighteen . Who do you think you are threatening the lives of my loved ones?" I said . But this time I didn't want to take my words back.

"I'm not doing this now , let's not cause a scene " he whisper aggressively .

I rolled my eyes ignoring him .He grabbed my wrist and pushed me inside the yellow Lamborghini. I try pushing the car door open but it was no use . He sat in the driver seat starting the car .

"LET ME GO YOU SELFISH PRICK . LEAVE ME ALONE YOU'RE CRAZY " I yelled .

"YOU'RE NOT MAKING THIS EASY FOR ME VANESSA" he yelled back.

I was to scared to respond. He squeeze his hands on the stirring wheel . His knuckles were cut up and bloody .

He stop the car at a random parking lot ....
