"What Bad day?"

 For the days that just don't seem to go your way, Keigo's here to solve it.

 Your alarm blares, startling you awake as you quickly sit up and struggle to turn off the abrupt noise that dared to wake you up. The room now silent, your head starts to catch up with you and you realize how absolutely horrible you slept that night, your body aches, and you flop back into your pillows not wanting to get up just yet. As you stare at the ceiling, sleep taking you over again... Before a ping from your phone wakes you up again, with a grumble you turn and grab your phone before realizing who texted you, the only person who'd dare text you this early, your boyfriend; Keigo.

"Kei- Good Morning Babybird~ You sleep well?"

You couldn't help but smile, You heard that sentence every morning whether it be through text or straight from his lips when you'd stay overnight, He always made it a priority to say good morning to you no matter what.

"Me- Morning Kei. Sadly no, Can't say I'm used to my bed anymore, besides the fact of being alone. What about you?"

"Kei- Aww, you could've stayed last night~ I wouldnt've minded you know that. I slept ok, missed having my babybird though."

"Me- Of course~ ...I should get up, and get dressed... See you at work?"

"Kei- Not today, I got the day off. I can drop by and give you some coffee though if you'd like."

"Me- You got the day off?! No fair... I've got mostly patrols today... so I probably won't even be by the office."

"Kei- That's fine! I'll see you later then, maybe we can hang out at my place tonight~"

"Me- As if I'd ever turn down that offer, I'll head over as soon as work's over. I love you Kei."

"Kei- Love you too Babybird, Have a good day at work!"

With a happy hum, you tossed your phone to your nightstand, stretched, and got up even against your body's wishes to not move, everything felt so stiff... Maybe a shower would be a good idea? You grabbed your clothes. started a cup of coffee, and just as you were about to hop into the shower; an alarm went off. With that you realize you did doze off a lot longer than you thought, You were gonna be late. As quickly as possible you threw on your clothes, grabbed your hero uniform, phone, bag, and you were out the door running down the street towards the hero agency.

The other workers looked at you slightly concerned as you busted through the door before signing in and leaning against the wall trying to catch your breath, after a moment you grab your to-go cup before realizing... You'd forgotten your coffee at home. 'Going to be that kinda day huh...' you thought annoyedly, with that you grumbled and went to change into uniform and start patrols.

From then on your day just kept going downhill, while out on patrol there were tons of criminals, whether it was a mugging or someone robbing some random store, you seemed to be in all the wrong places at the right time. Lucky you managed to catch most of them... but damn was it tiring. By noon you were so sore and tired, you sat eating lunch debating on calling a fellow hero to see if they could cover you when your phone rang, it was Keigo!

"Hey, Babybird! I take it you're on your break?"

"However short it may be, yea I am... How's your day off?"

"Good, running some errands. ... You sound off, You ok babybird?"

You let out a long sigh, "It's just been a bad day, I ran late for work, forgot my coffee, and it seems like all the criminals around here have decided to try and run me absolutely ragged... I'm debating on just going home and going back to bed as soon as I get off work."

There was a long silence on the other end of the line before Keigo decided to speak again;

"Hmmm... Why not a relaxing night at my place? It's closer anyway and besides, it sounds like you need some good cuddles."

God... you loved him so much.

"Ok, I'll be there around Xo'clock."

"Sounds good! I'll see you then Babybird, Love you"

"Love you too Kei"

With that, you hung up, finished lunch, and returned to your work. The rest of the day went by slowly, you had decided to go back to the agency, hoping to trade office work for patrols. Luckily one of your close friends happily took your patrols while you did the paperwork, which you realized might've been a very dumb idea because when you got up to leave the pain in your back was almost unbearable. Everything felt so tight, stiff and so incredibly painful it was a struggle just to change, you finally got out of the building to find a pair of brilliantly colored crimson wings wrapping you in a surprise hug.

"Hey Songbird~ How are you feeling?"

His voice and breath on your neck surprised you, but happily you leaned into him with a low hum; "Sore... Very Sore"

He kisses you lightly before scooping you up; "Then let's go home to rid of all that soreness"

The flight back to his place was filled with your venting, him adding some jokes to make you laugh, and of course quick little kisses. Soon enough he started circling his building and suddenly he covered your eyes.

"Kei? Why-"

"Shhhh... It's a surprise"

Confused, you felt as he carefully landed and set you down, after a few short moments he slowly removed his hand from your eyes, and the setting before you left you stunned.

You were on the roof of his apartment high above the lights and noise of the streets below, there were strings of fairy lights draped around a huge nest of pillows and blankets, a pile of assorted snacks and drinks, and to top it all off there was a projector set up with a small stack of both his and your favorite movies.

"Like it songbird-"

You cut him off with a kiss before rocking back on your feet; "I love it!"

He smiled and walked over to the pillows before flopping down on them, getting comfortable before holding both his hands out asking you for cuddles. You, of course, sat down on his lap and he started to gently rub circles on your stiff shoulders instantly causing you to melt. You noticed feathers zipping around as a movie was put on and your favorite snack was suddenly in your lap, "How long were you planning this?" you murmured in utter bliss as the knots in your back slowly came undone.

"Since this afternoon, I wanted to spoil you tonight and make your bad day disappear... Is it working?" He asked, leaning forward, his chin resting on your shoulder.

You leaned against him; "What bad day?" you hummed

He chuckled as he leaned back pulling you back, your head on his chest he rubbed your temples for a moment before running his fingers gently through your hair. As the movie continued your stresses and cares from the day melted with every touch from your loving boyfriend, sleep started to tempt you when you felt a light kiss on your forehead.

"Wanna know the best part about this whole setup?"

"Besides the fact that my perfect boyfriend thought of it?" you asked sleepily, looking up at him.

He chuckled giving you a light kiss; "Besides that" He murmured, out of the corner of your eye you saw another feather zip by, and the fairy lights started to dim. With them dimmed you suddenly realized the number of stars above you, the lights of the city was below you so the light of the stars was no longer battling with the city lights to be seen. It was a beautiful sight and you even sat up slightly to see them clearly.

"Beautiful," you said quietly, staring at them.

"Incredibly..." You heard Keigo mutter, you looked at him to find him happily looking back at you. You couldn't help but smile as he held his arms out, you fell into his embrace as he pulled you in closer peppering you in kisses, wrapping his wings around you, and muttering sweet nothings to you. And that was the rest of your night; Cuddles, kisses, and movies, and you couldn't ask for much more
