After we tore her family apart I picked my mate up even though I am covered in blood. The boys and I flew back to the cave. All of the years after the Emerson situation, we made sure to move further back into the cave to a place where no human can get to without help from someone like us. Which also means my mate won't be able to get away from me. "What do you want to do David? Now that we have her?" "We're going to keep her in the cave and hopefully unconscious. We need to make sure that we don't leave her alone until she is marked and a half vampire." With nods from all three of them, I placed my mate down on the floor where I would be above her, to watch over her. My brothers and I jumped up to hang, once I glanced at my mate to make sure she was okay I gave in to the rising sun and finally closed my eyes.

I arose from my sleep to find myself inside a dark cave. Once I looked up I gasped in shock seeing four men, with vampiric faces hanging above me. Remembering what had happened before I fell unconscious, I quickly jumped up from the floor and attempted to find a way out of this place. Seeing a opening in the far corner, I began to make a clime all the while making sure that none of the vampire's awoke. Once I was at the opening, I saw that it had a steep drop down, if I hadn't been forced to take gymnastics as a child I would not have been able to make that, but I slowly made my descent onto the ground.
When my feet touched the ground I saw another, bigger, opening to what seemed to be a cave to the outside. The sun shining bright into the cave, I quickly made my get away from the wall of the cave to the exit. And began what was more likely than not a long walk back to town. It seemed to be noon so hopefully I made it back to town before the sun fell.
