My small mate went slack in my arms and seemed to give up with whatever war she was raging within herself. My brothers were surrounding us as we fly into the darkness. 'what are we going to do now David?' Marko asked with in our bond link. 'I didn't kill her family only for her to attempt to leave my arms willing. I have no choice but to mark her as my mate sooner than I had originally planned. She forced my hand, attempting to leave me, us. This plan that she came up with to leave me was unplanned and she was not ready for the price she must now pay. But with he choice comes the responsibility to bare the price.' Looking at my mate and she watched the ground fly by, I decided to give her some peace before the hell she brought upon herself. I forced my mind into hers and watched as her body went slack as she gave into sleep.
We flew though the air in neck breaking speed, reaching the cave we call home with much time to spare before sunrise. When the Emerson problem happened and we almost lost Marko, we moved our sleeping area and most used area deeper into the cave where no human could reach without a vampires help. And of course killed off one of the frog legs. We entered the cave and found our main area, we had moved everything into the big open area, I placed my mate upon the couch, as she slept.
My brothers stood around me in silence as we watched my small mate sleep, "She will sleep through the day and well into the night." "And then what?" Marko asked, "then you three will leave me and my mate alone for a few short hours as I make due on my promise. And mark her while also turning her into a half vampire and starting the process in erasing her human memories. And your little sister is born, also my mate."
The boys nodded in agreement, before leaving to take the short time we had left to themselves while I spent sometime with my unconscious mate.
"I know that this is going to be hard, but it must happen. Forgive me my love." I spoke in a whisper to her, before leaving her to her slumber.
