6 long months training, building her body, controlling her new found powers, 6 long months without her real friends, her family, but at least she did become closer with others like her, but not enough to consider any of them true friends, seeing how Ixtec preaches that love is a weakness that could get you killed, which Akko really doesn't believe in, it only made life no longer worth living for in her opinion, but she'll admit to actually enjoying his presence, specially with her training, cause at least she doesn't have to deal with Bo very often.

"Akko, are you paying attention," Ixtec growled, tackling her to the ground, "you need to focus, you can't let your guard down," he said, getting off her.

"Can we take a break, I can hardly breathe," Akko wheezed, clutching her chest, trying to catch her breath.

"Fine, but you'll be going on your first mission soon, and dying is not an option," he said, throwing her a bottle of water, which she took willingly.

"What exactly is my mission?" Akko asked, tossing the empty bottle in the trash.

"At the moment I can't tell you, but you'll know soon, so don't worry too much, its not that big of a mission," he replied, walking away from her without another word.

Akko grumbled in annoyance, laying back down, staring up at the darkening sky, thinking about everyone she left behind, the ones she truly cared about, she wondered if her sister is ok, wondered if her teammates missed her, wondered if someone was looking for her, and she wondered if Diana was thinking about her.

Akko knew she wouldn't let herself get depressed, she's only here so she can protect the ones she left behind, if anything, this was her fault that she was in this mess.

Finally it was time for her first mission, getting dressed in the gear that was provided for her, before going to Ixtec's office to get more info on what she'll be doing.

"Good your here, I like you to meet Josie, she'll be your partner," Ixtec said, not looking up from his computer.

"Ok, so what exactly is this mission about?" Akko questioned, giving a stiff nod at the very menacing woman that could probably break her spine without effort.

"Right, so you guys will be guarding some woman who asked for our service, that's including any of her family members," he explained, moving his dark eyes to meet Akko's blood red ones.

"You'll be guarding this family for about 5 months, which should be a good starting point for you, and I already have a plane ready for you two and your team, so be at this location by 4pm," he said, before dismissing them.
